Dr. Sam has worked more than 15 years in a Small Animal practice, as well as Emergency Medicine and General Practice. She is keen on Spay/Neuter and other soft tissue surgeries.
She completed the Veterinary Skills Enhancement program conducted by Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph University. She has completed both Canadian and USA Veterinary license’s.
She enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 kids. She is known for her knowledge, compassion and laughter!

she cares a lot about her patients and works with people on their pricing needs which is very appreciative since I had to make a go fund me to help with bills.
They’re very friendly and informative and I’d definitely recommend them to other pet owners

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great experience! Tech took their time with my cat to come out of his crate. Dr Sam was very friendly and knowledgeable. She took the time to show my 4 yr old around, (she was very curious about everything) and even got to listen to our cats heartbeat. I was able to get an appointment within a few hours of calling. I definitely recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr Sam is a very caring and thorough vet. I don’t trust anyone with my elderly dogs who require frequent visits for various medical issues and I trust her implicitly. She super knowledgeable and does her due diligence and what is best for the animal and not her pocket book. She also believes in supplements and thinks outside the box so you get a well rounded and well versed diagnosis, where she works with you on possible avenues of treatments. She is amazing❤️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a very good experience here with my dog pepper. Pepper is a very reactive dog, and they made sure that she would have an overall great experience. They were very patient and understanding. Peppers surgery went very well and she recovered fine. I would recommend this place 10 out of 10 times. They are also very fair with pricing compared to other vets.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr. Sam is the best vet in Calgary hands down. Love the clinic, love the staff, love how she spends time with my dog and she isn't rushing in and out. She gets to know you as a person, and everytime I go in she treats both me and my dog with 100% attentiveness.
Absolutely lovely environment and amazing vet who genuinely cares about all her 4 legged patients.
My go to recommended doggy doctor and well worth the drive to see her!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr. Sam is fantastic. She has been our Great Dane's vet for almost 2.5 years and we have had nothing but exceptional care from her. Our girl does not do well with male vets and Dr. Sam goes out of her way to make Daphne feel safe and cared for. Last Sunday, I texted Dr. Sam with an issue when the clinic was closed and she immediately set up a care plan and an appointment for our girl. She frequently checked in with us this past week to see how Daphne was coming along. Dr. Sam and her staff are amazing and I am so pleased that she is our vet! We highly recommend Dr. Sam and Ranchlands Veterinary Clinic!
