I saw their sign and decided to go inside since I needed some stuff for my kitten. I found everything I needed and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

Raya is an absolute gem. She is more knowledgable than any vet I have seen. I came from coquitlam just to see her and seek her advise. She used to be the manager at coquitlam store and her recommendation about the type of food helped my cat greatly. Thank you for your help. Mr. Pet is extremely lucky to have you on board.

The manager Rain is very knowledgeable about all animals and their needs. They have a good selection of food and accessories. All the staff is friendly and loves animals.

Rude, rude staff. A few months ago, I was a new customer, and I was new to the city. When I first visited, I quickly noticed that the older woman that works there was really bossy and intimidating. She was giving us rude looks because we were purchasing a flea substance. And oh, it gets worse. We didn’t use the flea substance, and we came by to return it a few days later. As I stand in the door entrance fumbling with my mask and trying to put it on, the older lady shouted at me to put it on before I entered, in which I obviously was going to. She could clearly see that I was stressed out since my dog was getting hyper and pulling me more outside the door, sniffing the people who were walking on the sidewalk. We look around to possibly buy some treats for our dog and the lady kept giving us a dirty look. Then we just go to the front desk to return the substance. Oh! This substance is half empty, we can’t refund you. She said it in the rudest way possible. Hmm, weird. We didn’t use it at all. I walk out with an overpriced bottle of flea spray in my hands unsatisfied. When I got home, I opened it to check, the bottle was full. I was concerned if they sold me a half empty bottle! But nope, it was full. This is the closest pet shop to me, unfortunately. Last time we went in I was contemplating walking in for about 10 minutes with my dog because I was nervous about the older woman. And of course, she was rude to me again. I will visit again soon, just to see if they hired new staff. If I see otherwise I will be very disappointed. Nobody should feel nervous or anxious to enter a store. I’ve never felt this way about a shop. It makes my blood boil.

Great pet store on Commercial Drive with a good variety of pet products in stock. My dogs love coming here. Came there for an RC pets harness, specifically, and they had a lot of options. They also have fish and a dog wash station.

We went to mr pet last week, hoping for a new addition. To our budgie family. We have 2 right now. And 1 of them his name is Blue and he’s a year and 5 months old now. We got him from Mr Pet. Unfortunately we were unable to get a new addition. We will soon ?

Wide selection of stock and merchandise that’s easy to browse on your own. Staff is helpful if you can’t find what you’re looking for or need recommendations. Plenty of dog toys and accessories, which is what I’m looking for. A walk through the aisles reveals all types of supplies and food for every kind of pet. It’s not my ‘go to’ pet store, but gets ‘5 stars’ because it’s a short stroll from home.
