Oh Sweet Day! Bake Shop

I called in yesterday at 1pm & ordered a birthday cake for my grandmother. The lady on the phone said there is three cakes left for me to choose from.… Oreo cake red velvet and coconut. I thought I’d lucked out and ordered the coconut cake, the lady highly recommended this cake! They asked for my credit card to hold the cake. I asked for them to write HB grandma on the cake but the lady said they will do the writing with chocolate on the small board. Upon arriving, I saw the cake that I ordered was nice but the HB wording truly a disappointment!! This cake was not cheap, at $42, you couldn’t do a better job?! Even Safeway could do better!!!! I asked the guy that served us if we could get the pistachio raspberry cake instead because it’s easier to write HB on and on top of that the lady on the phone said they weren’t baking any more cakes for the remainder of the day. The guy flat out said no I said the wording on the cake can be easily be removed. He said no again and told me to come back next time and order the raspberry cake!!! I really don’t think so after that display, lack of service with that attitude. WHY SHOULD I COME BACK? Do you think your bakery is the only bakery in town?! No customer service and not being able to accommodate a simple switch over?!? If the wording was on the cake permanently I can simply understand. You are forcing me to buy something that was done poorly which the cake is the highlight of my grandmothers dinner. By the way, the cake was not moist at all, the only thing that was holding the cake together from being extra dry was the butter cream! Few days old maybe? They lost me as a customer forever!!!

Fanny made a beautiful space themed birthday cake for our son's birthday. It was one of main highlights of the party. The cake tasted pretty good and the buttercream was not too sweet which I really liked. The delivery was very prompt and it was trackable. Also, it's a cute little cake shop ?

Oh Sweet Day is my family and extended family’s go to when it comes to birthday cakes. I love that there are so many cake flavours to choose from. Red Velvet and Passion Fruit Hazelnut cakes are my favourite! I’ve ordered so many cakes from Oh Sweet Day and they’re always moist, flavourful and with the perfect amount of sweetness. They’re the best! The last cake I ordered was a custom fawn cake for my daughter’s first birthday (see picture). So many people complimented it and said how cute it was and how the cake tastes wonderful. Whenever someone asks me where I get my cakes, I always direct them to Oh Sweet Day’s website. It’s so easy to use! Fanny is always so nice and accommodating to any requests I have. If you haven’t yet, make sure you order from them!

Incredible cheesecakes! They offer mini cheesecakes which allow you to try a variety of different flavours. My favourite flavours were the peanut butter, mango, and black sesame. But all of the cheesecakes had just the right sweetness and intensity. You can pre-order online for pickup, but they also se to have many different flavours options throughout the day. They also run an offer where you can buy 5 mini cheesecakes and get the 6th free!

It was my first time visiting and tried Lemon & Earl Gray cheesecake. I though maybe Earl Gray won’t taste that much but it wasn’t! So flavorful. They have so many choice of cheesecake so I’ll try other ones next time. They only have two tables for dine-in.

Shop with an interesting name? Visited to buy a birthday cake. You had to make a reservation to get the cake you wanted, but still managed to buy a delicious looking cake! The cake was not too sweet. Next time I want to make a reservation ✨

Just WOW! One of the best cheesecakes ever. Been a long time follower on IG and finally made it to the store last weekend. Got dark chocolate and a mango mini cheesecake, enjoyed every bite. The texture and taste is so perfect. My hubby who isn’t a great fan of cheesecake enjoyed it as well. Can’t wait to go back to try other flavors and the short bread cookies? definitely recommend this cute place.

Wow! Went here with my mom and it was amazing. The cookies were awesome, decadent but not too sweet, especially the oatmeal with cream cheese icing and the chocolate chunk with cranberries and pecans. We also tried the lemon blueberry and passionfruit tarts which were delicious. The crust was crisp, buttery, and mildly sweet while the filling packs a punch of flavor with the perfect balance of sweet and sour. Next time I'm trying the cheesecakes! 10/10 would recommend!
