★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing bakery, had some chocolate filled pastry's that were to die for. Also picked up a loaf of Lavender, Apricot, Walnut bread that was delicious as well. Highly recommended. I will be returning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their bread and pastry selection is amazing. We ordered the morning bun and kouign amann. Both were terrific and very flaky. Not too sweet and just trying right size. The coffee was OK. Not our favorite roast, but that’s alright.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was super excited to have the passion fruit cake and hoping that I could replace the typical mango cake from T&T that my extended family ridiculously buys for everybody’s birthday. While it was a good price, I didn’t like it with coconut flakes. Something about the mousse texture of the passion fruit part combined with the rough chewiness of dried coconut is really displeasing. It is probably better without the coconut.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow... I'm very demanding about sweets -- I like them sweet, but then not too sweet. This bakery is perfect for me!! I tried the carrot cake and tiramisu, both amazing! Price is reasonable, too. Also, the staff was so nice. Definitely one of my favourite bakeries!!
Ps. Both were eaten before the picture... The carrot cake was way bigger! It looked so good I forgot about taking photos. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I didn’t know I was a croissant person until I first tried the bench’s cherry croissant. Oh my goodness!
Chocolate chip cookies were delicious and so was the granola. You can tell they are pros and have been doing what their doing for a long time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Checked out The Bench Bakehouse for their hot-chocolate festival items. Tried both if them:
The Strawberry hot-chocolate which was paired with a Strawberry Chocolate Polar Bear Claw. The drink was delicious with a very slight hint of berry. It had a piece of chocolate dipped cake ( i am not sure if it was actually brownie) on top.
For alternative milk they offer oat milk which gives you that silky texture. It was tasty. The pastry was real buttery and flaky. Again the berry taste not over powering.
The other drink, White hot chocolate with cardamon and orange blossom was topped with marshmallow. It was too sweet for my liking but hubby enjoyed it.
This is paired with a Baklava pastry. It was amazing.
We also got tempted and got their double baked Apple croissant. It was divine; as if you were having apple pie and croissant at the same time. I highly recommend it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cute lil shop tucked into the market, was a bit hard to find but with determination and the help of google I managed to find this store. Oh my first time there I felt like a kid in a candy store, so many amazing selection of goodies so hard to choose. I admitted I was greedy and ordered a bit too much that my tummy could handle ?. Their almond croissant was huge with generous fillings on the inside. I also like the fact that they sell some frozen goodies which you could get and bake at your own home.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The caramelized onion bread is soooo good for sandwiches or even on its own. You can get it sliced as well. Everything here is delicious, you really can't go wrong. The passionfruit cake is the best in town.
