A	A E on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unbelievable! Went at 2:30pm yesterday & was told they had given out all the numbers for new/renewal passport requests by 9am that morning when they open at 8am!! There was hardly anyone there! What are the govt employees doing nowadays when passport service levels have been substantially cut???!?!?! & none of this “new” procedure was stated clearly on their website! What happened to the previous COVID system of scheduling appointments? HELP!!!
M	Michael Hanrahan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The lines are crazy. I arrived at 3am on May 4th and was the fifth person in line. By 6am it was already 70+ people and starting to curve around the building. By the time I finished at 9am, the line must have been around 150-200 people at least. My advice - get there very early, set up a camping chair to hold your spot, go sit in your car and wait til about 730 or so and get back in line. Just don't leave the area or people won't know who you are and will just think you are cutting in line. Whole process will likely take you about 6 or 7 hours, even if you come later. Also, if you are not travelling within 25 business days with proof of travel available, do not bother coming. You will NOT be served.
A	Anil on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had my appointment at 8.30 am to get new passport for my son. Was in and out in 10 mins. I was little worried reading other reviews but it went well. Wanted to share my experience so that it would benefit others. My observation and suggestion: - Book an appointment and go. While booking an appointment online give valid and detailed reason. Be at the location about 30 mins before to find some parking spot. There is parking towards the other side of mcD as well. - When you go inside meet the security person and show the appointment. It's good if you can get a printout of appointment. I think even showing on mobile would do. - the entrance is between subway and baskin Robbins (multiple doors) - keep all the required documents. Verify signatures and filled forms again before coming - Walk ins are considered only for people with immediate travel and if they have proof of travel like tickets - people have come pretty early like 7 am and stood in line for walk-in. But again you may not be serviced unless you are travelling immediately and you have valid travel proof - the security and people are just doing their job. As for me I have no complaints. They were good and kind with me
r	rohan machhar on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Make sure you arrive before 6. I reached at 6 this morning my token number was 64 ! People line up since 2:30 am is what we heard and the line is upto food basics. It moves slowly but the staff is great and welcoming. But the entire process could certainly be better with not having to wait hours. For me it took 9 hours and I was out finally at 3pm. So keep the day free for sure.
S	Shatha Shanoon on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This an update May4,2022 Today I tried to go as earlier as possible. I arrived by 6:10 Am and the line up was already 45 peoples!! After 2 hours waiting they opened the door, the lady said only the people are travelling between 3 to 25 days are allowed to wait in the line, other wise you can come back later! So the limit date was till June8th. The funny think it was freezing, no washroom is open, if you leave your spot good luck with that! And also the lineup was about 150 peoples waiting and no one told them about the date are allowed! So bad! Milton is not taken any application yet! So the one office for Milton and Mississauga is insane!! So please make sure to arrive before 6:00 , check the weather, try to have someone to go with you in case you have to use the washroom, bring approve of the flight or address if you are travelling by car, bring a mask with you just to be on safe side. If your flight/trip within less than 25 days you can go, if longer then don’t bother! Good luck dear friends
K	Kozi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Make sure you get here before 7am, the lineups are huge and don't move the photo is from 8:56am. We came yesterday at 8:15am and were told to leave at 2:45pm. Today I arrived at 7:10am and the lineup was all the way to food basics, with another line on the north side of the mall. Good luck.
S	Syed Shah on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For those of you, whose passports are expired, and their flight is within 2 weeks, please don't lose hope, ,please go directly to the passport office, there's a separate line up outside the office for the people without the appointments. You need to have proof of your travel with you. Go early, and you'll be entertained, because there is a big line up outside the office and not everyone get a chance to get inside. Please don't listen to the people on the phone, as I was advised that without appointment, I won't be entertained, I almost cancel my flight, but then I decided to go there personally, and I am flying as I planted. So good luck.
L	Lisa Orpana on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ UPDATE: This passport office is moving back to a walk-in system as of April 5! Until then for those traveling up to a week in the future they will allow you in and accept your applications. On April 5 those traveling within 25 days with proof of travel will be allowed to line up. The rest they send home and you are encouraged to apply through the mail. On March 28 I arrived at 6:45am and there were seven people in front of me lined up outside, the earliest arriving at 6pm. After only fifteen minutes there must have been 40 people in line behind me. They allowed us inside the building to reform the line outside of the passport office door at 7:15am. Other days doors were opened at 7:45am but I think we were allowed in early due to the cold. At 8:15am passport officials and security guards were speaking to those in line, asking for proof of travel and announcing the cutoff travel date for who they would see today. I was allowed inside to line up by around 8:15am after those with appointments were seen first and I left the office with everything completed by 9:10am. Based on other Google reviews here it can take hours to be seen if you do not show up before opening. I strongly urge anyone coming here to make sure your documents are in order, don’t send a relative for you if you are an adult (some tried to do this) and to arrive as early as possible. It is unfortunate that the official website does not give accurate information. The staff were very clear, polite and communicative though and doing the best they can under the circumstances.
