β β β β β The staff are incredibly friendly. The beer selection is basic. The food was ok but half of it was cold. It seemed like the timing was off, but also some parts were suspiciously cold. My "toasted bun" felt like it was straight out of the fridge.
I have to say that the fish and chips were quite good, and cheap on Fridays. The onion rings were also very good.

β β β β β The lanky bartender that bears a striking resemblance to Gollum is incredibly rude and literally yelled at and patronized my friends who simply approached the bar to ask for a drink, because our server wasn't doing her job properly.
The server herself was nice enough, but as another review mentioned, it was pretty obvious to me that she was under the influence of something. She also kept pulling her mask down to speak everytime she stood a foot away us to take our order, which literally defeats the entire purpose of a mask.

β β β β β The staff were friendly and nice. Food was really good - I had the fish and chips and it was possibly one of the best I've ever had. Idk about other drinks but the Guinness was poured perfectly. Good neighborhood pub vibes.

One of my friend didnβt give any tips to her because of that and she said to us βgood bye and never come back.β
Also her service was too slow and forgot our order a lot of times. she constantly sounded frustrated and we felt like she was discriminating against us. Never coming back to this place

β β β β β Very overpriced and not great service either. Seems like theyβre going out of business, probably not just because of the virus. Youβre honestly better off going to loblaws across the street and getting frozen chicken fingers and fries if youβre going there for food, and thereβs a liquor store across the street too where you can get liquor before itβs expired for a third of the price. Thereβs also a decent amount of bars around, all of which are a better option than this one, have heard from other people they donβt like this place either, do yourself a favour and go somewhere else. By the way the review about the bartender resembling gollum seems very accurate, at least the part that the bartender resembles Gollum

β β β β β Went over during an evening to have a drink and meal. The chicken wings and fries were delicious and perfectly cooked. The bar had a very comfortable atmosphere with a polite and enthusiastic bartender.
I would definitely come back.

β β β β β Amazing comfortable place for drinks and the food is incredible. Traditional Pub fare with a twist. Everything is made fresh and really tasty. The homemade Chicken and Lentil soup is so good.
Portions are very generous so you get alot of bang for your buck. Prices are reasonable especially for a downtown restaurant. So many things on the menu to try.
I don't drink, but the selection of beers is mind-bogging. Something for everyone.
The staff is truly amazing. Everyone is super nice and welcoming. They really make you feel at home.
