Okay, I don’t usually leave reviews, whether it was a great experience or not. HOWEVER, this is the WORST experience I ever had in any bars or pubs I’ve been to. Before today, I used to like this place as they had one of my fav beer as well as great service. But today, which was Sunday evening, maybe the’ve put random floating manager or what, this guy who didn’t even seem to know what he’s doing took our order and was VERY RUDE. Ridiculously RUDE. We asked for Belgian Moon and he’s like ‘I’ve never heard of that’ and gave us an attitude. Well, good for you DUDE. To not know the beer you once carried at your store, what a great way to be proud of yourself. That guy seemed like a manager and seriously I DON’T KNOW HOW. With that attitude? Ok whatever, it’s been a while and it’s hard to know all the drinks you carry at the store I guess? We ordered pint of beer as it was ‘ all day/night’ happy hour and instead they give us pitcher. And this guy says they can’t do anything as it was already poured, and tells us we should have been wrong becuz they ALWAYS CONFIRM the order after taking them. They DID NOT confirm the order first of all, and the lady who took the order actually explained us what the happy hour was about and told us to get in pints. So WE DID ASK HER AS WE WERE TOLD TO, and now WHAT? Doesn’t make sense at all.i So he gave us the pitcher when we ordered pint and charged us more when it was ‘happy hour’. ???????????????????????? This guy took one of our credit card, which was understandable I thought. But waitress comes and asks who the order is for and how she should divide the bill? Huh? So, it’s obvious that you guys don’t communicate and did you just take our credit card without having to? By the way, they only had 2 tables including ours. The store wasn’t busy AT ALL. It’s just so sad to see one person ruining our experience and so therefore, loosing our fav on spot to go for a beer.

A couple of friends and I stopped by to enjoy some drinks for a birthday that one was having, today. We took a couple of photos and settled nicely in. There was only one other group sprawled acrosd the couch across from us. During the photos we were approached by the waitress and kindly let her know we'd order as soon as we were done. We noticed her demeanor change and she shortly returned letting us know " you can't stay here unless all of you order something" . We were perplexed as we has just arrived and yes, may have happily ordered more as the evening progressed. Instead, she left and returned with what looked like the bartender? Or maybe owner. He said " we usually have a lot of guests so need you to leave by 9" this is while they 1) close at 10 and 2) have almost no one there. It's empty. We knew that we weren't welcomed. They didn't tell the other group anything. And they continued to stare at us-as if we were doing something weird? It was highly uncomfortable and unwarranted. Naturally to show our dissatisfaction we didn't tip- while being started at by the owner/bartender and waitress intently. The downstairs restaurant service was GREAT but, the bar upstairs was where this took place. All I have to say is Happy black history month to you too. #DiningWhileBlack It's a shame!

If you're in University and looking for a place to drink average beer and eat below average food, than this is your place! The only reason this place isn't getting 1 star is because the service was very good. Our waitress was very attentive and was on top of everything as we were a pretty big group. The food was absolutely nasty. I had the chicken burger and it was basically just batter. They add Korean sauce in there too and the overall flavor was weird. Another person on our table had the breakfast dinner and I honestly never thought it was possible to fail at making eggs. The eggs were so dry and did not look good at all. The meat tasted like cardboard. Overall, the food was a 0. At least the achohol is relatively cheap. There are pool tables and the vibes were very so-so. Washrooms were below average in cleanliness as the floors were sticky, paper roll to dry hands was all wet and the lighting in the washroom needed an update.

ONE STAR BECAUSE ZERO ISN’T POSSIBLE FOR THE SUNDAY CLOSING MANAGER (April 10, 2022) You know why Sunday evenings are slowest for you guys? It’s not the time, other bars are actually busier. It is because of the “manager” on shift on Sunday evenings. Just to be clear, it’s the guy with the goatee (half-beard). Couldn’t he bothered to ask his name because talking to a brick wall would’ve been a more pleasant experience. If you don’t know your menu, can’t be decent to your guests, can’t remember the orders, you shouldn’t even be on staff, let alone be the “manager”. You should give credit to that person for making sure none of the 12 people in our party will ever step foot in your establishment again. Sure, ignore this as another random rage review. But go through the recent reviews and it won’t look so random. Your staff treats the customers like a pain and doesn’t make anyone feel welcome. And whatever the name of that “manager” specimen is, you don’t deserve to hand out flyers around the corner of the street, let alone call yourself the “manager”.

Great place to hang our with your friends and grab small dishes to share. Love their rooftop patio ambience.

Would have been a 5-star review if our waitress, Star, didn’t make a comment about us being the “neediest table” as we were leaving when she thought we were out of earshot ? there were 6 of us and we were so kind, tipping well. She also had like 2 other tables. As someone who has been in the service industry, this is completely inappropriate- keep this kind of conversation behind closed doors, girl. Besides this, I actually really enjoyed my time here. The food & drinks were really good ? just work on professionalism.

One of the best places in downtown Toronto. The decor, the ambiance, the food and the service is top notch. Ordered some wings and burgers and had to say that the portions were quite generous. Will definitely be coming back?

Good place to enjoy brunch with friends and family. Wholesome food and excellent service. Our server Tara was super attentive and so accommodating. Worth going there for a Sunday brunch.
