Been here more than 5 times+ and all of the experiences were excellent! The only downside was slow service but the servers are always nice and welcoming. Food quality is good and the price is reasonable!

February 2022: Hot dang! Eggspectation now has steak & eggs on the menu. I take full credit of course. A year+ of me saying a breakfast restaurant should have steak & eggs must have worn them down. At $24.95, a substantial cost, you nevertheless get a substantial steak. Perfectly seasoned and with the appropriate grill marks, mine was expertly cooked at the requested medium rare. And a big thank you to FOH Staff Cami for remembering and bringing it to my attention. Now about that chopped steak ? December 2021: Outstanding vegetable omelette. This one is chalked full of veggies and will satisfy your hunger. A nice change from the usual bacon, sausage et al. November 2021: Good and bad, mostly good but this one is bottom of the barrel. The lobster Macaroni will have you staring down at a plate of pasta, garlic bread, savoury cheese sauce and very little lobster. I would say nothing at all but the tiny shredded pieces that did come with this 25 dollar meal would make me a liar. Honestly, I wouldn't pay 15 bucks for this plate. I dare you to look at the picture and spot any lobster. The lobster Benny has more lobster and that's not saying much. A hard pass. *** Opened just before Covid hit. Ceiling lights a tad too bright for my taste. Especially in the morning hours before the coffee has had a chance to do its magic. My favourite breakfast meal is The All American at 14 dollars. It has it all at a fair price...bacon, ham, sausage & beans. Unfortunately the Lobster Benedict at 25 dollars is a bit on the high end and considering we are in Toronto, don't expect fresh Maritime lobster or a hefty amount of the seafood for that matter. The accompanying potatoes are always spot on and overall the quality of the food is superior than the average Diner including the toast.

It was the best breakfast experience, and the server was so kind . The food was delicious and tasty. Definitely coming again.

This place is pretty big and spacious. They have a decent menu and ok prices but their food is pretty standard. Nothing special I’d say. I’d rate this place higher but the service was surprisingly slow. It took a while for our waitress to come around and get us water and take our order, even to pay. But once our order was placed, the food came quickly.

I had been meaning to go this location for a longtime and finally visited with my roommate for breakfast. Amazing service by Kiera, and the meal was very delicious. Ordered the Smoked Salmon Benny and Crepes, and was not disappointed at all. Will visit it again ?

Was a quiet late breakfast - good service and the food - we had the eggsuberant - with Turkey bacon, eggs, potatoes, two chocolate chip pancakes and a little bit of fruit. It was good enough for the two of us and pretty good. Would visit again. The seating rise by the window can get a tiny bit cool on a cold day.

This place was amazing!! We ordered the bravocado and yolk around the clock. We also got the Milkshake and a smoothie which was amazing. I highly recommend this place and would go again. The catered to our needs and were so friendly.

The food here was good, maybe a little pricier than most brunch places, but it was also nicer than most. Service was subpar at best. We ordered the smoked salmon appetizer to split, but weren't given plates to eat it with, and it took a while to grab the attention of the staff. My water glass spent much of the time empty, and my friend who ordered a coffee (free refills on coffee) only got a refill once, when he flagged down our waitress and requested it specifically. The Mediterranean Crepe was great, I would recommend it if looking to order a lighter fare
