Absolutely amazing brunch with a lovely atmosphere. Super lovely staff and a scrumptious menu for both meat eaters and veggies. P.S the baked beans are lovely and smokey ?

The food here is delicious! It is always packed for brunch, and due to the cramped seating and precarious walkways for servers, the service is somewhat lacking. It can take a while to get the attention of a server to ask for more water or get the bill. With how good the food tastes, though, I would definitely still go back.

Every single thing of the entire experience was delightfully memorable! Our table was ready within minutes of our arrival. The service was warm, friendly, and on point. We got checked on at the perfect times and the food came out quickly. The food was absolutely incredible! Get the brisket, you'll thank me. Top 3 memorable brunch meals I've ever had. Everyone else gave their meals top praise, perfectly prepared, served warm, fresh, and delicious. The space inside is tight but cozy with enough room to move around. It has an outside feel inside. Great vibes with lots of character. The bathroom is super cool with an old school communal faucet, felt like stepping back in time to a bygone era where class was king. And the prices were great, 4 complete meals for under 120, can't beat that in the GTA for what we got. Make a reservation now, I have a feeling this will be your regular brunch spot.

So cute and great food! We go the Mushroom Rarebit and the Brisket Hash, both delicious. Well run place with good service. Our waiter Sam made great recommendations. Thanks Sam and Smith restaurant.

Come for the food, stay for the washroom. Food: Pretty disappointing and expensive. Famous strawberry cheesecake pancakes were cold and kinda rubbery. The eggs benedict were also a bit tough to eat. Service: Staff were really nice albeit extremely busy. Wasn't a huge deal for us personally although it was hard to get to get their attention most of the meal. Atmosphere: Really cozy dining experience! Our favorite part of the whole meal was using the washroom. The sink is extremely confusing and impractical. Figuring out how to operate the sink with five other equally puzzled patrons was a fun, memorable experience. No sarcasm as I actually really did enjoy this part the most. Overall, there are better and slightly cheaper places for brunch downtown.

Beautiful beautiful place, 3 stories of different layout and design, so you don’t get bored ? my favourite spot is on the third floor though, kind of dark and cozy. On the food: generous potions, delicious, kind of diner-like. Don’t forget to try their baked goods, it’s an amazing complement!

UBER EATS DELIVERY: Got the Ballina Benedict, Smith Breakfast, and Strawberry Cheesecake Pancakes. Overall, a great amount of food for the value and it tasted great. The only problem we had was the 'Smith Breakfast' doesn't list the beans as included (even though it's shown in the photo on the app) so I ordered a whole side of beans ($5) only to find out the dish did end up coming with it's own portion. The Strawberry Cheesecake Pancakes are on another level though - must try if you like any of those words.

They have nice, compact interiors with friendly staff members. Although the sitting arrangements are a bit tight, the restaurant gives out a nice vibe. The ambience was nice but a bit too loud for my personal taste, though my wife didn’t have any issues with it. We ordered one chicken sandwich, one strawberry cheesecake pancakes and a cappuccino. All of them tasted really good, the portions were quite generous and price seemed fair enough. Overall good experience and would recommend for weekend brunch dates.
