★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have only had great experiences here so far! Loved chatting with Dan D, who helped me pick out a pair of trail runners on opening day. Mentioned that if there's anything wrong with them, not comfortable, wrong size, etc to just come back and they'd take care of it.

Inventory seemed pretty good to me, considering global supply issues. I wasn't able to find everything in my size, but most clothing had variety of sizes on the rack. I prefer to try pants/shirts on before buying, even if it's just to get an idea of what to order online - trying on a larger or smaller size at least gives me some idea of actual fit.
Staff are absolutely friendly and helpful and that is a big deal to me. Just nice folks who were nice to me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ got my first pair of climbing shoes from here! Imtiaz (i hope i’m spelling it right) was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and passionate. Rick was also incredibly friendly and kind! this store is massive, very clean, and has extremely kind and helpful staff. I’d highly recommend! :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wanted a bike lock and the section was very poor. Staff pretty much ignored me and when I asked a question they were pretty much bored and lack lustre. Sorry MEC not even close to being my go to store for sporting goods.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have visited MEC several times in the last few months looking for a particular Patagonia jacket. I was pleasantly surprise today when I noticed the store seemed to be very well stocked, as opposed to its relatively thin inventory earlier in the year. I was able to find exactly what I was looking for and signed up for a membership with a friendly and professional staff member. I look forward to making more purchases at this store in the near future.
