I have been with CAA for years now, and at first I was really impressed with the service, until I had to make a claim, as there was a flood that ruined my bed, and other property. My claim started sat feb 27th 2021 I spoke to an emergency on-call adjuster that night to start the claim I was advised Monday morning my claim was now being handed by someone else She left me a voicemail with her first name only and no contact info. After tracking down her info I called her and left a voicemail Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday all with no response. I called to spoke with someone else Wednesday and he thankfully started the ball rolling to have someone come assess the damage the next day (5 days after the flood) Thursday she finally emailed me with no resolution, or timeline at all. This is when I called to speak with someone in the escalation department as to why this was all taking so long, and was advised someone would call me, no one did I called again Friday and spoke with an escalation team member who was rude and not apologetic at all I was it’s now March 15th and I’m still waiting for a cheque As if having my property damaged wasn’t bad enough, this made an awful experience even worse I’m out money, time and some of my sanity for a service I pay for I’d give zero stars if that was an option

Its crazy how much money you pay for insurance for years and how badly their customer service is. The broker i had would never pick up calls, or emails it would take her days if not weeks to get back to me. It came to the point that i wanted to cancel and she wouldnt send me the paperwork to sign to get the insurance cancelled. Then i had to call customer service to see if they could provide me the document for cancellation and they said they couldnt find me on their system and only the broker could do it. I explained that she never gets back to me and asked if i would basically be forced ro stay with them if the broker didnt get back to me and they said yes. Ridiculous. Horrible customer service
