McKnight Registry - Calgary

Was nice and clean and not busy at all for end of the month. It did seam a bit small of a space for the amount of stuff in there. But would go again.

Hi, please don’t ever take road test with Mr. John here. I had worst experience here. I had to take road test for 3 times here. 1st time was fair because I did parallel park wrong. But I ask for second chance but he didn’t give it to me, that was one punjabi guy. Even there was a road test rule that we can try thrice.He just gave me once. 2nd and 3rd time my instructor was Mr.John. 2nd time was fair coz I exceeded speed limit in play ground zone. 3rd time was literally unfair. Without any valid reason he just put 30 points and failed me. He is money minded. Really fed up of him and this registry. Worst experience ever

Went to get a vehicle inspection form for a out of province inspection and they insisted that I needed an alberta licence. I waited for 40mins in line for them to turn me away. Went to another registry and my out of province license was fine.....

I visited McKnight Registry for some corporate lookup and registrations and I must say that in my 13 years as a Calgarian, I have never been as well looked after at a registry as I was today.an older Chinese lady tended to all my requests with utmost care and attention to detail and all with a pleasant attitude. I was unusually wowed. It was my first visit to this location but won’t be my last. Thank you kindly!!

I gave my road test here my examiner was Nanar, an very Amazing person and extremely pratical approach. He was very calm during the exam and I did not felt stressful at all. A very positive and fulfilling experience of giving the road test. The customer service at the counter was good too. I would definitely recommend this registry.

Had my road-test yesterday, the staff is quick and efficient. My examiner was Nanar; he made me feel at ease and helped calm my nerves with his polite and patient nature-which helped me perform better. Thankyou to all the staff from McKnight Registry I have my license.

This place is the best registry in Calgary. I took my road test with an instructor called K. Tells you what the exam is about in a calm and professional way, to follow his commands. The professionalism is simply one of the best. From the reception to getting my class 5 GDL, the staff are phenomenal. I would recommend this place..

Fast but it's because the place is out of the way and inconvenient to go to so their not very busy. Other than that there's nothing good to say about this registry office. We went there twice and the 1st time we forgot the documents which was our fault and inconvenient for us but when we returned with the Government documents the 2nd time they complained and said that the documents were outdated and and photocopies of the true government document. I pointed out that the government documents that were photocopies were signed and notarized by a government notary public official. So I asked them what was considered an official government document and they pulled up a government document stating what was the proper documents to have to get an identification card. So I looked over the document they printed out and noticed that even old government documents can be used to obtain an identification card. So I pointed out that the document they printed out mentioned that old government documents that are used to obtain identification cards were still accepted. They refused to acknowledge their oversight because it seems that what they say does not reflect what they do in their actual daily business operation and don't follow the guidelines that the government has set out for obtaining an identification card. Even when I expose their double standard for their daily business practice they still did not follow the guidelines and refuse to provide us with the service to get an identification card. I had to waste my time and take us to another Alberta registry office to fill out an identification card form and get everything processed. I will not be using this registry again and will be filing a complaint to the Better Business Bureau about their double standards for not following the government guidelines for obtaining an identification card.
