Tula was extremely helpful, sincere and very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this store to anyone searching for that perfect outfit for any occasion. This will be my first stop next time I need that perfect outfit!

The owner is rude and pretends to talk nice to their customers at first, after going in she talks bad about every single customer she has within the store especially if they don't buy anything. She would make her customers seem as though they are crazy, when it's her. You can over hear her saying things while she talks to friends in the store, terrible way to run a business. You can get better service at other stores in the city, she overly prices her dresses and shames customers of different sizes. I will not be back here.

Having only recently discovered Maxi. we could have very literally saved alot of mileage and frustration in our constant pursuit for gowns in GTA. Who knew mere blocks away we'd find Elizabeth and Maxi. My wife has always had a very clear idea of what she wants, and how it should fit. That first visit, no doubt a reaction of our traffic and retail exhaustion Elizabeth suggested my wife enter a fitting room and allow her to make a few suggestions. WOW, she definitely knows what she's doing. Each gown Elizabeth chose was better than the one before it. Definitely a lesson in not making choices based on how they look on the hanger. The ultimate test was a result of another Bloor St. retailer not having received the b-day gift I had originally planned for. Again Elizabeth made several choices, and each was a HUGE hit. Elizabeth and Maxi made me look very good following my moment of panic. Maxi is now the first and consistently the last choice. Thanks Elizabeth, your amazing.!! (unsure of why Milli' might have been so unhappy, but reading her other reviews, it appears as if Milli is easily annoyed. With her being the common denominator in each of her unfortunate experiences. Ladies a thought, no matter the retailer, Maxi, Holt Renfrew or The Gap if your nasty you shouldn't expect anything but the same in return.)

The owner, told me it would be coming in and arriving in January in the colour I wanted. When I went to try on the dress it was in a dark grey colour she said numerous times the white would be arriving the following week. I went in the following week and the dress was not there. Instead, she tried to sell me a completely different dress. The women lied to me and said she could get the dress that I wanted and then tried to sell me something else. I will never go back and make sure none of my friends ever go there.
R	Robin Glazer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After a long search for a gown for my daughter's wedding, a kind salesperson from another store recommended Maxi Boutique. I thought "'what do I have to lose". I had been all over Toronto looking for something simple, yet classic and elegant, which was really hard to find. I walked into Maxi and was greeted by Sandy. I tried on a number of dresses so she could see what I liked and assess my style. She had me figured out in no time. There were so many beautiful dresses, but I just hadn't found the one for this very special occasion, until I hit the last one - it was perfect! Unfortunately, I noticed a snag in the fabric. They tried everything to repair the dress; they even sent it back to the designer. The dress was silk and could not be repaired, but the designer offered to make me a new one. The dress arrived on time as promised and Sandy went out of her way to deliver the dress to me. They did whatever it took to make me a happy customer and I was thrilled with the dress on my daughter's wedding day. Thank you Sandy for your kindness and help.
