β β β β β Agree with many other reviews saying they provide poor service to young people. There was only one other customer in the store and 3 staff members and I had to wait 10 minutes to get service while they helped the other customer. I probably spend more on clothes than all 3 of them combined but they think I'm some young guy who won't buy anything. I guess they were right because I'm definitely not buying anything there.

β β β β β Iβm currently visiting from London and had the stroke of bad luck to come across this store. The issue didnβt lie with the fit of the suit I was looking to buy but the treatment I received from the floor manager.
From the moment I was addressed he acted in an unprofessional and unpleasant manner. Like most Britons I tried unsuccessfully to defuse the awkwardness with humour but eventually I asked him if he was usually this aggressive with prospective customers.
Things didnβt improve from there with a consistent barrage of critical comments ranging from my choice of suit, my putting on of said suit to my country of origin. Iβm far from nationalistic unlike my proud New Yorker counterpart but it all seemed very counter productive considering heβs selling me a product.
So Stavros, if youβre reading this. Even though I actually liked the suit I finished with. I would rather drag my balls through broken glass than reward you with a single cent of commission. I ended up getting excellent service at Harry Rosen where I spent over $2k, have a swell day friend.

β β β β β I have been shopping at Brooks Brothers since 1973. The quality suffered in the 1980s and early 90s, but has come back under the current ownership. Itβs very important for men and women to have a good relationship with their tailors and I have not been disappointed with the Bloor Street storeβand especially Justin.

β β β β β My experience is aligned with others reviewing here: as someone who doesn't appear old, I'm not treated particularly well. Customer service varies significantly by sales person. There are two people who are excellent -- Moe and Luanne. My experiences with the rest have been poor enough (three visits) that I'd be unlikely to return. I went last weekend, for example, hoping to get a jacket and a few shirts. Maybe pants. (I dislike shopping and had waited too long...) I had a specific jacket in mind that I saw online. The sales rep was initially unhelpful (i.e. unwilling to help me find the item). Once I found it and brought them to it, they said it wasn't available in my fit. I asked if they could recommend anything else that I might consider. "No." Which is a fairly unambitious answer for someone in charge of "sales" talking to someone wanting to buy clothes. They left as soon as they could. Feeling discouraged, I went upstairs to see how my gf was doing. Not well, it seemed. I watched as she asked to try items on. Her sales rep kept saying "Oh... you know that's not on sale, right?" and similar comments that clearly were meant to say "you don't belong here" or "you can't afford that". Reality check: we know the cost and we are here to buy clothes because they are quality and we like the style. But they made us feel like we didn't belong. She won't be back. I will if I see a specific item that I like a lot and can't find elsewhere. The only saving grace is that occasionally they do carry items I really like -- but I have to like it enough to put up with the attitude of the general sales staff to get it.

β β β β β Very large store in a convenient location. Friendly and attentive service. They have the best non-iron dress shirts around and I never remember my husband's size so it's great that they have it on file.

β β β β β I've only ordered from the Brooks Brothers website and I can confidently say the experience was seamless from start to finish. The website is clean, the delivery time was fast/efficient and it even came with a hand written "thank you" note from the distributor.

β β β β β Condescending Blond male Sales associate on menswear in the afternoon of Christmas Eve. I guess the way you are treated depends on the item being on sale or not..

β β β β β Had a wonderful experience buying a last minute suit. Mohamed was very helpful with everything. We went on a Sunday evening and got the suit altered and ready for Tuesday just in time for our event. Excellent service!
