★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to the store looking for some help on an order and got dismissed by the associate saying that I should call costumer service… funny, you would think the associates are the for costumer service. Anyways, I called them and was told I would receive an email in two days from another person handling the situation and I haven’t got any email so far. I guess this is how much Free People values a loyal costumer. Loved the brand, it was my favorite until this happened.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just want to shout out Abby & Nicole - they went above and beyond normal customer service to help me purchase a pair of pants I’d seen online. There were a few challenges in getting it and they could’ve easily just said “oh well” but they were so nice about it and I received them today in the mail. I would 100% go back just because of the service they provided. Thanks girls! Appreciate your help!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yesterday, I stopped by Free People at 79 Yorkville Ave., in Toronto.I had a return/exchange that was a bit unusual, and I had no idea how to proceed with it or even where to begin.
The 2 young saleswomen saw me come in and greeted me with big smiles. Very welcoming.
I had no expectations other than to be able to explain my situation and perhaps get a phone number for customer care that deals with more complicated purchases etc.
There was no need for me to start making phone calls because I discovered that the finest customer care/service was right there in the store.
I was treated so well and one of the saleswomen, (who’s name escapes me right now,) knew exactly how to remedy the situation, with no fuss, no complication. Her knowledge and ability to problem solve was outstanding.
My wardrobe has primarily consisted of Free People clothing for the past 10 years and I love the Free People style, beautiful colours, fabrics etc.
Kind of reminds me of the boho style of Yorkville back in the 60’s!
So thank you to the saleswomen at this location in Yorkville for being so helpful and accommodating. You made my day.
Can’t wait for spring and summer collections..I’ll be back!
