She was well-versed and thorough. Helped us prepare for childbirth and the birthing process. Made us feel more familiar with everything. A great help!

Jen was just what we needed to get through an unmedicated hospital birth. She set up the tone of the room, worked beautifully with the staff, and maintained a safe space for our epic process. She offered ideas for shifting the experience at the right moments to keep me moving forward - walking, shower, hand fan. Her presence helped my partner with the nerves, and her review of the birth reminded us how it was beautiful, meaningful, and unique. Love!

As immigrants in Toronto, we had no family support and after meeting Jen we knew she was the perfect person to help us through our pregnancy and (most importantly) post-partum. Jen was a wonderful support throughout the pregnancy, and even when COVID hit and the world turned upside down, she was there for us every step of the way. Unfortunately, she couldn’t be there for the birth of our daughter, (due to restrictions at our hospital) but she was always at the end of a FaceTime call or text, day or night. Her sage wisdom, experience as a doula (and a mother), and super chill demeanour were a godsend in the first few months of parenthood! Hiring Jen was without a doubt the best decision we made, and we literally cannot give her enough stars!

As the partner to my wife, I really appreciated everything Jen did for us because of her genuine character, extremely positive energy, a wealth of knowledge, and always being open and listening to our feelings and thoughts. The birth of our son was the most intense and most wonderful experience of my life and having Jen there was exactly what we had hoped to have. The meetings with her prior to going to hospital was very useful and helpful and with new info (even when we had taken multiple classes at the hospital). She had great techniques that we used. Throughout the birth she guided my partner with utmost care and useful suggestions how to progress. I felt that she always heard what we said and respected our decisions. The delivery room was full of love!! The after-the-birth visits were so reassuring as we were getting used to this crazy new way of living! I totally recommend her as a doula to others.

She helped me prepare emotionally and form my birth plan (the nurses at Mount Sinai even complimented Jen’s template!), provided virtual support to us while I was in labour, and assisted us postpartum, too- we unfortunately suffered a loss in our immediate family shortly following our son’s birth, and Jen was there to support us during one of the most challenging periods of our lives, with great care and sensitivity- we are so grateful for her help and companionship. She also has a natural, loving way with babies :) my son feel asleep in her arms INSTANTLY! I would not hesitate to recommend her.
