★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Comment added to address reply below: the disappointment is not due to not getting a shot, it is due to having to wait several hours outside before being told we weren't getting in. The majority of the people were in line before 11am, if that number of people exceeded the number of doses available then that could have been communicated HOURS earlier. Why not hand out numbers, or offer people who waited priority for next available appointments? No acknowledgement at all, just someone saying "we're out".
Original post: They hosted a walk-in Covid vaccine clinic on the first day of expanded booster eligibility and had people line up for at least 6 hours outdoors before they were turned away. Not one person actually employed with the pharmacy came out to apologize or at any point confirm that the hundred or more people still waiting wouldn't get in. It was a volunteer who let people know that they were out of shots. Was also informed by someone working the door when I arrived an hour before the clinic opened that they had 300 shots and I would definitely receive get mine if there were fewer than that many people already in line. There was definitely fewer than 200 people in front of me and I was turned away only a few feet from the door.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am a manager at Dundas West Village Pharmacy since we opened on December 2018. Yesterday we organized a beautiful event for a great cause Make-A-Wish foundation and vaccinated as many people possible with Pfizer vaccines.
$700 was donated as Dundas west village pharmacy vaccination event December 20 on our behalf and on all people who gave it to us. Thank you so much we did it. I couldn’t have done this without you, many volunteers and God’s help. Prayers from my heart and thanks again.
We will be on Boom 97.3 radio on this Thursday at 6.45am playing $ 1000 make a wish for a chance to donate more.

They provide a high level of customer service and are genuinely interested in helping customers with their health related needs.

The staff was kind and efficient. Very helpful and created a comfortable space. Thank you for the great service !
