Super authentic Thai cuisine!!! Their pad Thai is phenomenal… I’ve never been to a Thai restaurant that hand makes their own noodles. They have an appetizer that gives you a variety of authentic Thai apps such as spring rolls, skewers, shrimp pockets etc. I would highly highly recommend this place!!!

Been meaning to try this place for a very long time and I don't know why it took me so long! Very friendly staff and owner. Food is delicious especially the golden bags (not on the menu) which they only make a limited amount of daily. Decently priced. Would come back again!

You will find the papaya salad here so authentic and tasty (speaking as Thai people, you can ask for Thai spicy ?? which I am really happy about). This place is a gem and I am so excited to try more menus ?

I loved the atmosphere of their patio. It’s very green and welcoming. Unfortunately the patio chairs are rather uncomfortable. The Thai milk tea was delicious and I tried their Tom Yum and it was pretty good but kind of hard to eat with all the hard vegetable shells (different kinds so I couldn’t name them all). I’m definitely coming back to try the other plates recommended by other people but I’m gonna avoid that soup.

I have been to Isaan Der (Junction location) a few times now and each time is just as good as the last. Probably some of the best Thai food I’ve had without travelling into the heart of Toronto. I’ve tried 3 of their noodle dishes (pad Thai, khao soi, and pad see ew) and each one has been excellent and enjoyable. They use fresh rice noodles which makes a different in their execution of the dish. Get the golden bag (dumplings). Not like any other dumpling I’ve had it has a potato and corn filling with hints of curry. I have also tried their calamari which is also delicious. It is crispy and perfectly seasoned and I love the dippems that it comes with. I have also had their Cashew Chicken and Pla Tod. The chicken is lightly breaded and well seasoned. The Pla Tod is my favourite. It’s a large bass fillet covered in panko and fried to perfection and well seasoned. Fish comes out soft and juicy and the outside is crunchy. It’s really nice with the corn salad. Best Thai Iced Tea I have ever had. Order it, you won’t regret it! Basically, you’re going to enjoy whatever you choose because everything is very good and the food is consistent.

Isaan Der is a gem of a place. The food is delish! We had a little hiccup with a take out order with uber eats - and the owners went above and beyond to accommodate us. Totally sweet (even thought it wasn't even their fault). Also, they are very veg friendly. Last time I was there, the person in charge even created a special vegetarian dish just for me (and it was great), and most things can be made with a veg fish sauce. Service is incredible. Worth ordering from! The pic is of Pad Si-ew.

Edit: my rating will go back to what it was when these guys fix a few major issues with service. 1. Don’t tell people 30 minutes for pickup and an hour later we are still waiting (happened more then once) 2. Medium should be medium. I just ordered medium and there are so many chunks of red chili in my dish it’s a joke. I’ve ordered this dish medium a dozen times and never, has my mouth been melting 10 minutes after my first bite……get serious guys cause it’s getting hard to support you when my time and money is going into the garbage….original review below. Finally, I found a good Thai place that doesn’t require me to go deep into downtown. After driving by here for literal years, and frequently eating at Curry Twist to get our Indian fix we decided to try Isaan Der. Everything that we have had so far has been excellent. Thai iced tea…great, not too heavy like some, Kao Soi, excellent broth flavor, noodles are fresh and were just the right cook. I got it with beef, and although tender, it was not “shred it apart with a spoon tender”, not a deal breaker by any means. Pineapple fried rice was excellent with large chunks of fresh pineapple and the cashew chicken was also really good. Overall we’ve got a great Thai restaurant here that’s our new #1.

Easily the best Thai restaurant we tried so far in Toronto. Authentic tasting dishes with the right amount of spice! STARTERS The Papaya Salad was so so good. Savory and delicious. We ordered it at the 3 chillis Spicy level. It definitely had a kick! Love it. I don't think we would have enjoyed this at 4 chillis. Chicken Satay was tasty too. A little different from what we would have expected but nonetheless yummy. With 4 generously sized chicken breast skewers, it was quite good value too. MAINS We ordered the GuayTiaw Gaeng (rice noodles in red curry) and Pad Grapow with Fried Egg (Thai basil chicken). We got both at 4 chillis level (Thai Spicy) and they were good too, with the Pad Grapow being more spicy. With all that, 2 hot green teas and 1 soft drink, the bill plus taxes and tips came up to $70+. Pretty good value for money. Will be back!
