Lush Cosmetics

drove to Upper Canada Mall to purchase products for my friends, daughter and granddaughter. I was told at the door by a young girl by the name of Brie to sanitize my hands before entering. I advised Brie that I had just washed my hands a few minutes ago in the washroom (my hands were still wet) and she told me that I had to wash them again. I'm about to purchase lush products for friends, my daughter, granddaughter and myself and she wants me to wear a mask, social distance and wash my hands again after telling her that I just washed them. My hands are not carrying COVID for Pete's sake. I did wash my hands again and then when I realized how I was treated and about to spend lots of money there. I turned around and walked out. This is so much about control right now it isn't funny. It's not about COVID and protecting myself and others from catching the deadly disease, it's about telling us all what we can or cannot do. As much I love lush products I will never return to the store again. Not just the Upper Canada Mall Store but any of those stores again. If someone can't use their common sense and listen to the customer say, "I just washed my hands before coming to this store". If my spending money in their store is less important than constantly washing my hands then so be it. This young girl doesn't really care if I don't spend money in the store, she doesn't own it. She simply enjoys pushing rules and regulations on customers. I have been shopping at Lush Cosmetics since they opening in Ontario and I love their bath bombs and skin creams. They do sell some beautiful things, however I feel like we can never do enough to get it right anymore. Some stores choose strict ridiculous rules over having customers shopping and spending money in the store. Staff certainly need to master the art of critical thinking and gain some common sense.

I love this store! They are the sweetest and most helpful people ever! Love the products, but the workers are definitely the best part about it :) special thank you to Bree, April, Emily, and Rebecca for making our visit extra awesome!

I love this store!! The employees are always so helpful with great suggestions on products they like and have tried before. Everyone is so friendly! Definitely going back!

Ordered online and it was a great experience. I had written to them saying I may have forgotten to put my apt number. They messaged me back confirming I had and that my order was on its way. It arrived quickly. When I used to go in the store they were always do polite and helpful.

I've never had an issue with the product but the service on the other hand is annoying. Don't get me wrong it's nice to be able to find help when you need it so when you literally have 5 Associates one after another coming up to you and asking if you need help in the span of maybe 10 minutes... It makes me realize they're on commission, or they think I'm a thief, I ended up buying nothing just because I wanted to get away from them I'd like to make up my own mind in my own time

I have been going to this particular lush for years. As a big lush fan I do prefer to go in person instead of ordering online only because I like to take a look at the smell and texture of new things before I buy them. I can't really do that online although I do like that you can order bigger sizes. The staff at this location are amazing and super helpful and I always leave here with the best experiences. Not to mention that the inside of this lush is beautiful.

Incredibly kind staff, attentive and eager to help, overall very knowledgeable. I ended up getting lots of different products they recommended me (both for skin and haircare) when originally I had only intended on a bath bomb. Excellent experience, always a must-stop and shop at when at the mall.

Honestly best shopping experience ever! The ladies that were working (sorry I didn’t catch the names) were so helpful and friendly. They were not badgering me to buy products, but instead offered me products that I was familiar with. I did spend enough money and will definitely go back again. It was nice that the store was not busy so they could actually work with you and create an honestly conversation. I would definitely recommend Newmarket Lush to my friends. 10/10!!! Thank you ?
