I was really excited to return to Little Monk Pretzel to see if it was as good as I remembered it to be as a child. So happy to have run into the owner who made us delicious, fresh cut and baked pretzels, and seasoned them with care. The pretzel balls are so delicious especially with parmesan. So fresh - unlike any other pretzel shop I've had before. Boyfriend also enjoyed his pretzel balls which he requested a custom flavoring for - garlic sesame.

My partner and I make a point in coming here every time we are in the area! The pretzels and pretzel balls are cooked fresh to order and are consistently delicious every in both texture and flavor every time. We were thrilled to see they have survived the pandemic so far ?

Ideal place if you want to grab a quick bite without breaking the bank. Pretzels are freshly baked and prepared right before your eyes.

Great pretzels in metrotown by TNT supermarket. Pretzel made fresh after purchase. Choose your flavor with many to choose from. Only thing was the owner was working by himself so he had to multi task which made everything a bit slower than normal. Overall great, soft pretzels for a good price. Cheers!

I like how soft it is, the softness is like the Japanese milk bread or the Filipino pandesal and the taste is similar to these two as well. You get to see the staff make the bread in front of you. The only problem is sometimes the sugar are not evenly distributed and sometimes the pretzel itself has fat and thin parts perhaps due to heat distribution. I don’t like the sesame because somehow it makes the bread hard at some parts and soft at other parts. Two stars because the price is not worth it for the taste of Japanese milk bread and pandesal flavour in a pretzel, especially if TNT is nearby.

I've been a long time customer, and it's my favourite thing to get when I'm around the Metrotown area. The pretzel balls are bomb, definitely my kind of carb-y treat. Soft, fresh, and not too dense like the traditional pretzel. Prices are a bit on the higher end for some baked dough, but I still think it's totally worth it!

Been my favourite pretzel place since their first location near Superstore. I will always crave and come back for these pretzels! My favourite is are the pretzel balls and you can ask them for two flavours instead of one.

Fresh to order, but a huge disappointment to me and hardly tasted like a Pretzel. It was way too soft, inconsistent dough and did not taste like a Pretzel as well as being soaked in way too much butter. They do have a loyalty rewards if it's your kind of thing, but this is not a real Pretzel.
