β€’This lab has no respect for patients’ time. β€’I had an appointment for 9.20 am 2021 Aug 19 at the above lab in Oakville. β€’I arrived there at 9.10 am and waited β€’I was called in 9.45 am and by the time I left the lab it was 9.51 am β€’The technician who took my blood was very apologetic and did a GREAT job β€’I could see that she was constantly working β€’To me the root cause of the delay was obvious: there were more patients and VERY FEW technicians β€’I am assuming the management of this franchise (?) was cutting costs thru minimum staff and at the expense of the patients ! β€’to add insult to injury, people who came after me were called in before me. For example, there was a "James" whose appointment on the board was after mine and yet the receptionist sent him before me. why ? Why bother with appointments ! ( another person who was waiting also validated that his turn was NOT respected ) β€’The final kick in the teeth was when I sent an email to the LifeLab contact coordinates highlighting these shortfalls my email was erased with the message β€œ NOT READ” β€’Is there any management auditing of these shortfalls ? β€’In case we forget, this same LifeLabs was broken into and patients records were compromised ! β€’We are all busy professionals and hence we make appointments in the computer. Our time is precious and delay costs money. β€’An additional "kick in the teeth" was when I had to pay $7 in parking when it should have cost half that amount. It is the principle and the not the amount is what is bothering me. β€’Maybe we need to introduce some real competition in this area to bring back patient focus!

I’m going at LifeLabs for about 3 times within this season, for my self and the kids, and we share quite good experience with the service there and with staff as well.

They were super organized and quick. It is a by appointment only clinic which was perfect as I knew I needed the test a month in advance. I will definitely try to book all future tests through them!

A clean facility and a quick appointment with little wait time (end of day). However, I don’t think I received a single hello or welcome from any of the staff. To feel seen and cared for in healthcare environments is so important and was, unfortunately, not my experience at this location. I was deeply disappointed by this lack of care. Paying for parking was also not ideal.

This location provides poor service and is very understaffed. After waiting in line for ~10 minutes, I had to wait more than 15 minutes again, after being called in. Considering that there were only three people including me in the wait line, it only comes to conclusion that they are very understaffed to result in 25 minutes wait time. The receptionists were also not the kindest.

A decent service, we always had a good experience. On time, great staff. No complaints at all form our side. We have done there blood (and other) tests, both adults and kids. Update: this month we have been there twice to do a quick β€œtest material” drop off (for kids urine tests),and I managed to run in and out in less than 15 minutes and in these 2 specific cases the parking was free. It looks like parking that is under 15 minutes is free near this lab. No appointment was required for a simple quick drop off. Given that all the requisitions are in place and labeling done at home, OHIP cards are with you.

Staff at the reception was too impolite. I came as a walk in patient and she said it would take long. We said it was fine. When we said we were in 3 people, she said it will take a lot longer and said: β€œI’m human and I didn’t have my breakfast β€œ. Awful

Absolutely Terrible! I brought my 82 year old mother this past Saturday. She was in the room for more than 10 minutes. I became concerned when I saw the technician come out of the room to call another technician. I immediately got up and went to the room. They had picked my mother for over 10 minutes trying to find a vein. I told her to stop, I was so ? and we left. Absolutely unprofessional. Sent an email to lifelab still waiting on a reply I h
