Leon Cycle Canada - Vancouver

I bought a F720 last year, and have enjoyed it ever since. It is a sturdy bike that is also good for carrying stuff around. I am actually a beginner at bicycles, and know nothing about maintanance. One of the guys there called Mike helped me from the beginning and it has been great. I have gotten my brake checked regularly and he has been always very welcoming and answers my endless questions really well. The battery duration for F720 is perfect for my commute which is about 24km distance in round trip.(fyi, i am quite big, so if you have leaner body, it might be diff.) It displays one bar in the battery level when I get close to home. Love the fat tire. But there are a few things to consider. First, it is HEAVY. If you have to take it up and down the stairs, it will be challenging. Also since F720 is foldable, it has smaller wheels in diameter. So, it is harder to speed up without having the motor on. But, again, I haven't ridden bicycles before, so I am not trained at all. If you are a cyclist, i guess it might be a different story? Anyway, I often ride it without motor assistance on level roads, and I love how it cruises on steep hills with the motor on.

Definitely big disappointed for me. I bought my Milano plus about 6 months ago. I always face problems with my bike. My pedals set has been changed and I paid to change it. After that my front lamp stopped to work. My display was broken because of water damage. We are in Vancouver and it’s too normal to ride bike under rain. I talked with the warehouse workers and I wanted to change it, but they told me “we don’t have” Additionally they said me “the accessories will be here 2-3 weeks” but this conversation was about 1 month ago. They still don’t have! I had to get another bike seller and I paid more than 175 dollars! And the last problem is throttle problem. It’s not working and of course it’s not surprise for me because it’s Leon cycle! They wanted me 15 dollars to change it. My friends brake also broken and they told him “we will get this part 2-3 weeks later” but they told him about 5 months ago! They always say similar, because they try to get time. I just want to do only one thing. Burn the every part of this bike! I will never buy again even I won’t visit their website.

We love our Leon folding e bikes. We bought two getting 10% off. Everything helps. We approached Leon Cycle after talking to another couple on their bikes, who highly recommended Leon’s. Can’t wait for the sun to make its appearance, so we can get in more riding time. Truly, as seniors we have loved the whole Leons experience from sales, service, to a very easy learning curve riding.

Full disclosure, I did return my Ebike due to an unusual issue but I still wanted to give a review for the great service. The store is not too busy and it was easy to speak to staff. Mike in particular was super helpful and friendly. I really appreciate that they allowed me to return the bike within 2 weeks which most bike shops don't do. If I decide to give E-bikes another try, I will definitely go back to Leon.

We interacted with Mike and Deep. My bike had front gear detailing issues and break squeak noise issues. They fixed it on the same day.

Hi e-bikers, I really recommend the F720 e-bike, as well as Leoncycle in Vancouver. The battery lasts for 3 days between hills at maximum speed, the eco speed on the flat and the bike is comfortable practically everywhere. This review is posted after only 2 weeks of testing, I will come back to this review if however, a big problem should happen, but the bike looks pretty solid, I was a little afraid of plastic parts when I got it bought, but in the end, they look solid. Check your gears setting when you come out of the store mine was not on top, but as the team promptly responded to me with a lot of solutions when I reported to them, and of course to back to the shop to fix it (but I live in Vancouver Island), I went to my local bike repairer, and for $ 5 they adjusted the brakes and the gears for me. Only small downside, but it is often the case on all bikes I have owned, the paint is easily removed in certain areas of friction, I advise you to protect certain parts with black hockey tape on the places where the bike can touch each other by folding it, for touch-ups, I bought a black paint pen from Canadian Tire, just to erase imperfections and protect it from rust in the future. But, it is a great product, I hope it will last over time, but I trust Leoncycle to provide after-sales service, they have been so far super helping with me and super accommodating for the order and unlike other brands of folding bikes, I was able to have it during the day. I think it's the best folding bike in the area right now. I looked for a long time before deciding, I think I made the right choice. Little more from the team, when I asked Mike if the F720 was good compared to the F1000, he did not try to push the sale, he confirmed my choice, and I am very happy today. Now I pray that no one steals it, because this bike is a real eye-catcher... I get stopped in the street as much as if I had a cute dog on a leash. My F1000 e bike had a flat tire today. Sam and Mike were very very helpful. They did not only fix the tire but also suggested to put a slime to further protect the tire from punctures. They are very knowledgeable with bikes. The best thing about buying e bikes here is the service does not end when you buy the bike. Thank you so much for all your help Mike and Sam.

I have no hesitation recommending Leon Cycle Vancouver. They have been very helpful and fair. I initially purchased my NCM e-bike online and when some minor issues came up with my bike during the warranty period Leon Vancouver were quick to put things right under warranty. I will buy my next bike or a second bike from Leon Vancouver rather than ordering online, especially since I live close and I can test ride one, get the bike quicker, and take the bike there for warranty or servicing. I have recommended them to a few friends who are considering buying an e-bike.
