★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spent one night here and it was a great experience. The rooms are really clean and the beds are comfy. We were able to get a room on the backside of the inn which really kept the road noise away from our room. Great location with nice little pub within walking distance. Owner greeted us at check-in and was very friendly and accommodating.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is our second time staying at Lake Country Inn and we find it affordable, clean and the owners and family are very nice. Today the owners invited us to a BBQ dinner tonight which we totally enjoyed. We will definitely be staying here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We booked a room directly with the owner of the property who was very gracious and friendly. When we arrived we found our room very spacious and very clean with plenty of room to move around.
Our room faced the highway which was very close so there is significant traffic noise so ask for a room facing the back for more quiet. There is a nice covered patio out back with a BBQ and our room had a small fringe and microwave which is not standard in most other accommodations.
There is a Shoppers Drug Mart across the highway and it is open until 10pm. Plenty of parking and the parking spots are very wide. The furniture is a little "dated" but that did not affect our stay. The TV was too small but it was mounted on the wall and had an HDMI port to hook up other electronics.
Overall a very pleasant motel experience. This is not The Westin but it is a very good value for your money.
Really nice home made curtains as well. You can also tell the owners take pride in their investment and take their time to make sure the rooms are as clean as can be. It is a small but charming property just perfect for our needs.
