โ โ โ โ โ Terrible, the noise was going till 2 in the morning. Beds were like sleeping on rocks, only good thing was there is soft water for a shower!!!!

โ โ โ โ โ My friends and I stayed at the shorebird campground. The lots were really nicely spaced out, and we had so much free firewood! All of the staff at the campground were incredibly friendly. And they were so nice about having our dogs at the campground.

โ โ โ โ โ Had such an amazing weekend out in Tobin Lake. The staff here are just incredibly knowledgeable with the area. The cabin we rented was just perfect! The whole weekend was incredible even though Iโm probably the first person In history to not catch a fish on Tobin Lake lol I will be back 100% for fishing redemption.

โ โ โ โ โ Iโve been coming to tobin since I was a little kid, but recently the place has been falling apart and is so unorganized. Came for wing night and called in advance and they told us 4pm but when 20 of us arrived decided to change it to 6pm so we would all have to pay full price ($14 wings) instead of the $5 ones. Would give half a star if I could..

โ โ โ โ โ We stayed at the campground for 10 days and just got home. The sites are nice and spacious and the free firewood was great. Staff was friendly and welcoming. However, there were a few downsides. We were told that the sites were "full hookup". To us, this means sewer, water, and electricity. But the sites do not have sewer. There is a dump on the way out though. Also, the grounds were under construction, and a heads up about this would've been nice. It was noisy all day, every weekday. The bathrooms were cleaned and supplied on the third day we were there and then not again before we left. That means no one maintained the washrooms for a week (at least). Finally, we used the public shower, since we didn't have sewer, and you have to pay for the privilege. Totally understandable to minimize water bills for the owners, but they charge $1 for 2 minutes of shower time. That seems pretty steep, especially when it takes 20+ seconds at the beginning to get up to temperature. Conclusion: it was just fine, but there are a lot of other options in the area, so we likely wouldn't stay here again.

โ โ โ โ โ Blatant disregard for public health, owner and staff did not wear masks despite it being provincially mandated and now surprise surprise there's been an outbreak stemming from this establishment. The owner's hospitalized and ventilated and still doesn't realize he was irresponsible. Not someone I would trust to take care of me at my stay if he refuses to do the basics to protect his staff and clients.

โ โ โ โ โ This place was great rented a cabin with my wife and dog. Place was pretty clean, few dead flies on windowsill but hey youโre in the woods lol. Owners and staff were pretty friendly. Went out fishing with a guide mid 30โs, friendly guy. Iโll be back every year now, nice place to get away for a week! Fair price for the cabin rental but guided fishing trip was a little steep but worth it.

โ โ โ โ โ Been coming here for years for family fishing trip and usually love it but this year (2021) we came in for sandwiches and our waiter was sitting in a booth playing with her toes and only washed her one hand while she continued to play on her phone and then proceeded to bring us our food and the next day we called about wing night and was told it would start at 4pm. 20 of us came in and they told us it was at 6 after sat down so we would have to pay full price. Disappointed that this place is falling down the drain.
