R	Rob Balla on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place to stay and downtown in downtown Goderich. There was a hint of urine smell on the second floor but as soon as I walked in my room there were no issues. Front desk was friendly. Would not recommend the restaurant unless you don't feel like walking somewhere else. Service was very very slow. Dined there twice. Food was just okay. I could tell the first waitress we had work there for many years because she really didn't care and was miserable. On the second visit the younger waitress seemed to enjoy her job and was very accommodating.
J	Joseph Salive on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When I arrived the lady working was very friendly and helpful. The building is old with lots of character, and is right on the main town circle. The building is dated, some parts havent been updated in a while, but my room was clean and fresh with nice cold air conditioning. Lots of hot water! Nice channel selection for tv although I didn't spend much time inside.
S	Shelby Leveille on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stumbled across this restaurant trying to find a place to eat. Food options were never ending and offered something for everyone. The atmosphere was great. We had been served by a few different servers which is fine but I am giving it a 3 star because not all the servers were as pleasant. I understand people have a bad day or extremely busy and during COVID it is not the easiest. We had asked for the blinds to be closed as the sun off the floor was blinding and we were given an eye roll. But again the food was fantastic and I would definitely go again.

T	Tony S on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Charming, very well kept hotel. It's not a concrete cookie cutter hotel like the big chains. Wierd shaped rooms, bizarre rambling hallways with random steps here and there for no apparent reason - how can you not love such character? Room was very clean. There's a little fridge, TV and hair dryer. No coffee maker, but they offer a free continental breakfast which includes the all important coffee. Breakfast, like all continental breakfasts, was a trifle disappointing. Bagel side of toaster didn't toast so much as warm things a little bit. No croissants or waffles, which also made me a little sad. But I got over it. Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Lots of free parking. The location is perfect - right on the square, which is a great place to be. Lots of great little restaurants only a few steps away. There's a restaurant in the premises, but they don't serve breakfast. Free ice machine - and oddly enough a microwave beside it. There are no elevators, but lots of stairs. But as I pay good money to a gym to use a squat rack to make my legs move heavy things, I really can't complain. And the price per night is unbelievably fair. Absolutely would go there again!
D	Daniel Kirby on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positives are proximity to local stores/beach/restaurants and the price versus other locations. The wifi was actually very strong for a hotel as well. Unfortunately these were heavily outweighed by the conditions of the hotel. I do understand it’s a historic location but everything was not really historic looking but just outdated and worn/used. The room smelled strongly of mold as well. The TV has basic cable but no option to watch any streaming services. The hotel has a mask policy in place but the front desk attendant when we checked in did not have one on.
