Little did they know I have 2 kitchens to be replaced in the same house plus a rental property that could have been potentially theirs too.

Your expertise and assistance on not only the kitchen design but colour choices, countertops, backsplash and hardware was outstanding and very much appreciated. You kept us on budget and on time! The quality of the cabinets and products exceeded our expectations. Great service from everyone from designers to installers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Be aware of this company! Do not use them!! They have taken my $6300 deposit and it's been two months of countless promising dates and designs but nothing delivered. The first designer Mandy was very rude, unprofessional, and didn't know what she was doing. She delivered a design that was not up to code. And she ended up quitting. Then the 2nd designer Maurice took over. He said he is trying to put out fire that Mandy created. Sounds like she messed up a lot of other projects too. You would think he would be careful dealing with the mishaps. But it got worse. More promises but non delivered. When I ask for my money back, Maurice agreed. But on the day of picking up the cheque, Maurice told me the manager would like to call and apologize at certain time. The manager never called! I followed up but no one answered my calls and texts. Unprofessional and shady. Up to today, I still have not received any refund. Call the company and no body picked up. I will report this to BBB and need to go small claim court to get my money back. Will need to post this on social media as well to warn everyone. Such a terrible experience! KAD TOOK MY MONEY AND NEVER DELIVERED. IT IS A SHADY AND DISHONEST COMPANY!! DO NOT USE THEM!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Last Summer, KAD was the first cabinet place we went to check out to shop around for our kitchen, bathrooms and other custom millwork for our home reno. I was drawn to KAD based on their positive online reviews and I appreciated that they responded to my inquiry right away and that they were able to schedule an appointment on the weekend.
Their Coquitlam showroom is small but nice and modern. We got there a bit early and the designer was available to see us right away. Without even going into great detail about our project, the designer quickly skimmed through our drawings and design renderings. After asking a few questions, we got the impression that he was not interested in our project. He threw out a ridiculous figure to try to scare us away and/or to see if we were stupid enough to bite.
For whatever reason, he also made the comment that he does not work out of this location and that he was only there to fill in as they were short staffed. Was that a hint that the clientele is not up to par as the ones he normally deals with in Richmond? Perhaps, if we were a big developer or if we had a multi million dollar mansion in British Properties, would he had been more enthusiastic about working with us?
I hope the rest of the staff has more class and just because we did not show up in flashy designer digs it does not mean that we are not serious customers.
Our project is quite extensive so it was a bit of an insult that he did not bother to have a proper consultation with us and wasted our time. If he could justify the math of his rough estimate, then it would have been a different story.
I decided not to disclose his name of the designer but if the company requests more than willing to share.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love my new kitchen and the process was so easy. Anna (Surrey location) was great to work with. I had sought out quotes from several kitchen cabinet makers but once I met with Anna I was sold. I was very comfortable working with her and she made a number of site visits so we could get the project done exactly as I wanted it. Even though I knew basically what I wanted , her extra design ideas were excellent. She was able to take my ideas and create a space that exceeded my expectations. The installers were also very professional and the few small problems that arose were dealt with quickly and professionally.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I worked with Kara as a designer and I can’t recommend her enough. She was so helpful and responsive when I had questions. When there were snags with my contractor she was flexible and was able to adjust the design so it still came out fabulous. I’m so happy that I went with Kara and Kitchen Art and Design. I highly recommend them!
