I was in today to get a pendant engraved. The lady behind the counter was completely unfriendly and cold to the point of rude when speaking to me. She handed me the font styles without saying a word and when I finally picked one, she said they couldn't do that one and only the bottom level applied to me. Well thanks- it would have been nice to show some customer service earlier to tell me that. She didn’t even ask me if I liked the final engraving (was ok but one of the letters s slightly off spaced). Will never deal with her again- she is rude and needs to be reminded that being friendly and polite to your customers is actually part of your role in customer service.

The worst customer service experience I have ever been a part of. The owner damaged our ring during engraving and told us he did not care about our concerns. I got a Signet Ring engraved there and upon receiving the item back we had some concerns regarding the centering of the letter and the quality of work. Upon hearing this George, the owner of the store, simply said "best I can do." The ring was heavily scratched and the line work on the lettering was rough. It seems to me the diamond bit on his engraving machine likely does not receive proper maintenance as each cut on the ring was inconsistent, likely due to vibrations from the dull bit trying to mill silver. When I asked again if there was anything that he could do regarding the damaged piece he said no and that he's too busy to deal with us. In addition he also said that if I really cared that much I should just take him to court... (What? Really George? Court?) Its important to note this was over $16 of engraving work. I suggest to save your money for a business that actually cares.

I just got my Medical ID bracelet from there. Shelley was wonderful! She got me in, helped me pick out my jewelry and engraved it for me in 15 minutes. I’m very happy with the whole experience!

Brought a silver, signet ring from Michael Hill to be engraved with a letter 'W' after a recommendation by Michael Hill to do so. Upon arriving at the store to pick up and pay for my ring, I expressed my concern that the letter that was engraved was not centred, as was promise to me by the sales woman we had worked with. "Best I can do" responded George, the store owner and engraver. Holding the ring in my hand obviously concerned about the quality of what we had just paid for, George never offered to look at the ring again or talk me through the process by which my ring wasn't engraved in the way as I was lead to believe. Upon leaving the store, I further inspected the ring and saw that 1) there are scratches across the entire face of my signet ring, 2) the straight lines are bumpy and inconsistent and 3) there are yellow stains in the engraving. We return to the store, to express that we were not happy with the result and to ask what can be done to fix this. The first words out of George's (store owner) mouth were verbatim, "Well, I guess you're going to have to take me to court". He continued to tell us he didn't care about the quality of the work he did and that we should leave the shop since we weren't happy. Again, he wouldn't even look at the ring, no doubt already knowing the shady work he did on my solid silver ring. He ruined my $200 ring, taking no responsibility and showed no remorse for the unprofessional engraving he did. We returned to Michael Hill to tell them our experience with the deplorable store owner, George, where they expressed their condolences and promised they would no longer recommend to their clients to go to Key Centre Engravables. Don't bring any jewelry you value here to be engraved. Any jewelry will only be ruined beyond repair and you will be reprimanded at by the store owner when you are dissatisfied with the work quality.

I reached out to this company to engrave on something they have never done before. They were quick to respond to my email inquiring, and they advised while they had never done this particular job before they were willing to try. Not only did it work perfectly, but it was done quickly, and looked amazing. I am surprised to see reviews on here calling the people who work here rude among other things. George and Shelley were so wonderful through my entire experience. I would 100% go back here to have services done again.

I visoted the place to make keys, they were very helpfull. Intkis helped me he was polite . Thank you so much for help.

Walked in and found a frame I liked to buy as a gift for my grandmother but the display unit was scuffed so I asked the gentleman helping me they have one in the back. Turns out they didn't, as I could hear the other staff discussing it. He walks up for the elder employee who looks like the manager and gives her the scuffed frame. She then quickly scans it and starts putting it in the bag before I can see it and gives me the total. The manager didn't even have the courtesy or class to tell me we don't have any more is the scuffed display ok? She just tries to quickly wrap it up and get away with it. C'mon, please be better than this, you are in charge of peoples memories, not running a flea market booth! I might return because they are specialty but will remember this poor service and check twice.
