My husband loves the store, awesome selection of hats. Beware online clearance it doesn't fit how you think it should. Stick to the in store deals.

BUYER BEWARE: I received a birthday gift from Lids. Of course it came with a gift receipt. Unfortunately it was a full back hat, hence needs to fit perfectly. It didn’t of course. I brought my hat and my receipt in today for an EXCHANGE, cause ya, I want a Raptor Championship Hat!! I found my hat for the exchange and went in line to exchange it, the person in front of me bought a hat and didn’t have any issues, nor did he receive a warning on there exchange / refund policy. My turn.... β€œ sorry sir, company policy is no exchange, refund etc past 30 days” I ask if this is noted anywhere, β€œ no just company policy β€œ Yes I checked my receipt, nothing noted. No signs anywhere. I explained that it was a birthday gift that was bought a couple weeks before my birthday and I waited 2 weeks after my birthday for the exchange, price tag and everything is still on it. β€œAnything we can do?” β€œNope” . 40something days since the purchase... Thinking about calling a lawyer... I know, waist of time for how many wasted weeks/ months it would take. I have boughten so many hats from them in the past.... SHAME! Anyone wanna buy a brand new raptor hat from me????

The customer service at this location is terrible. The manager has a terrible attitude and speaks to customers in such a condescending and disrespectful manner.

So I went here today to get the new habs final hat. Upon arrival I ask the lady behind the counter if they have it she laughs and says no. I ask when do you think you will get it. She replies its probably in this box and kicks a closed box behind the counter. I ask her if she can check it because I really want the hat. It's a really big deal that the habs are in the final to me. She laughs and says no. I ask her why and she says because I don't want to as she's kicking the box across the floor to the stock room. I guess she thought i was a joke. I buy my season hat and playoff hat here every year for the past 10 years. I've missed this store dearly because of covid. I finally got a chance to go and I get laughed at in front of my 2 kids. Thanks I'll find a new lids to shop at.

At first looking at some of these reviews even though most of them are good I was attracted to one review about customer service not being up to standard, I had originally bought a hat online from the lids website but unfortunately it did not end up being the right size so I had came in to the store for an exchange but upon arriving I was greeted by a very nice women who asked if I needed help right away. So I told her my situation and she did everything right they did not have the same hat that I ordered online but they had some better options in the store she had helped me getting the right size for my head and overall I was satisfied with my service with even getting a compliment about my hoodie on the way out by another worker. The reason it did not get the 5 star was because my hat online costed about $60 with shipping and they would only return the original amount of the hat which was $45 so I had just ended up exchanging it and losing $15.

I spend a lot of money on hats that I collect and when I get emails from lids about hats that I’m looking to collect and go in to the store and you pay some useless employee who is on his phone and on speakerphone with his girlfriend and can’t even help or even acknowledge there is people in the store is where I draw the line I will never go back to any lids location again I will just go right to the supplier some of the people that work at lids are great and others don’t even deserve a job especially in these times we are in
