★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We used to dine in-person but haven't since 2020 due to COVID. We've been getting sushi here every week (take out) and the quality is great. I remember visiting when it first opened and sitting at the counter - Ken was so friendly, he kept laughing at my friend's dumb dad jokes. We're really gonna miss this place when we move further away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to KEN Sushi House for the first time. Not All you can eat but a la carte. Quality of the food is great. Everything is freshly made, and the ingredients themselves are very fresh. No frozen sashimi which is very appreciated. Had many of the different rolls (try the KEN house roll once at least!) And all of them unique and delicious. Servers were very friendly, although seems like they could use more help given how busy they were. COVID screening done at the door, although the seperation partitions between tables don't really seem to do much. There's visible gaps between them and the wall. A nice touch is the washroom has mouth wash and toothpicks for customers to use, have not seen that before. Definitely give it a try!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Having eaten at a few sushi places in Waterloo I think Ken has the best quality! Their chefs really treat the food with care and it's a family owned restaurant. My go-to is their salmon bento box, the tempura batter is so light and fluffy!
Their staff is also really attentive and they're atmosphere is really good!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered some sushi rolls and sashimi for my birthday, and as seen in the attachment, the food was awesome! Fish was fresh, the cuts and pieces were very generous in size, and there was sufficient sauce on the roles as well (with a great kick). This was my first time trying Ken's takeout, and they did not disappoint! Prices were fair, given the quality of food, but it can definitely add up depending on the number of rolls/food you order. Overall, delicious and would definitely recommend (especially their spicy roll set!)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went back for dine in to Ken after a long time. They have stayed consistent with their quality since pre pandemic times. I ordered their Rocky Rocky Roll and the Avokappa Roll and both tasted good. The restaurant was super busy with all tables filled to the max. Since it was super busy, all the servers were occupied so it took us a while to just place an order. Other than the wait time, their service was good. While their prices are relatively higher than other sushi joints in the area, Ken is definitely the place to come for quality sushi.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a great time at Ken Sushi house. They were very busy today but ensured to serve great food. Will make sure to come back again on a regular day to try the other food items.
We had the calamari, seaweed salad and love boat pictured below.
Spent about $83 plus tip but felt that it was really worth it. Calamari was very soft and fresh unlike the others we have tried which are rubbery. Seaweed salad is nice. And the love boat was really filling. All of the items are freshly prepared.
Servers are nice and accommodating especially the nice tall girl whose wearing a white face mask today. We forgot to get the name since they were so busy. But please know we are really thankful. ??
Thanks KEN sushi house for the wonderful valentine dinner. ?
P.s picture below is not the complete love boat. Already ate some of it. ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good sushi and service. The sushi tasted fresh and the service was great. The ambiance is open and the mural wall was a nice touch. The seats are quite private as well. The price for food is a bit on the higher end but wasn’t too bad. They also have quite a bit of options for different and unique sushi. Would recommend if looking for good quality sushi in the area!
