The cabins are wonderful and spacious, well appointed with all the basic necessities (small fridge, coffee maker, loads of towels) and the beds and bedding were comfy and cozy. It’s clean, quiet and a short walk from main street...the perfect location. The owner (I regret not asking her name!) was friendly, helpful and no-nonsense and was so accommodating. I can’t wait to come back to stay again!
W	Wong Family on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If given a choice, take one of the bungalow cabins fronting the residential street. For the same price as a standard room, you get a much bigger unit with a patio where you can have a few drinks while cooking your dinner on the BBQ. As it was, I got a standard room in the main building. My room came with the typical queen bed with a firmer mattress and flat pillows. I prefer both but it may not be for everyone; I am not sure if one can request different pillows. TV, microwave, and bar fridge was also included. Interestingly, there was hand soap but no shampoo, conditioner, nor lotion. And the toilet was set such that my short 5' 6" frame felt cramped while on the throne. And my final complaint: the shower head was so low that it was at my nose. Even this short person had to crouch to get a decent shower in. I cannot imagine if one was 6 foot plus. Those minor inconveniences aside, it was a pleasant stay. The location is quiet, in a residential block yet a short walk to downtown Kaslo. Check in was quick and painless; the "front desk" consists of the proprietress sitting on the front step with a credit card machine in hand. And the price was affordable, dare I say cheap? In conclusion, this is not a Sheraton or Hilton so don't expect that level of accommodation. There are some quirks in this older property. But minor glitches aside, for the price the Kaslo Motel hit most of the right buttons. 4 stars.
C	Creedance LeRoy on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great little motel! They had these cool cabins but none were available, she upgraded us for free to a standard room upstairs vs downstairs. The room is very clean, pretty basic but did the job, the bedding was nice and it was very warm. It's perfect distance to Front Street, walk up to the pub and have a couple pints and walk home. I'll for sure stay there again!!

The woman in the office is very nice and accommodating. Close walk to a park by the water, walking distance to downtown. Won't stay anywhere else in Kaslo!
J	Jeff Jones on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is our second time of staying here There was a group of nine of us and we had a fun time. Some on motor bikes and 3 woman in the chase car following up the rear. Nice friendly place to stay. Lovely flowers and hanging baskets every where

I couldn’t open the door to the office to check out and she blamed it on me for not being able to. She refused to get up out of her chair to open the door because we weren’t able to when it was time to check in. Definitely won’t be back.
c	chad sellars on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I write this as I sit in a bucolic green terrace beside a magnificent tree as I monitor my steaks on the fancy weber bbq's and sip my beer on the nice chairs provided behind every cabin. These cabins are really spacious quiet and nice! Kaslo is a fantastic town.
