★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is such a gem! The rooms are beautiful and look out onto the lake. The hot tub and sauna truly make this a place you never want to leave. I will be coming back to this place again and again. What a treat!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My spouse & I got an opportunity to visit this lovely retreat place at the lakeshore near Kaslo. One of the most peaceful places in Kootenays with a bunch of summer outdoor activities. We reached there around 4 and decided to do some activities, got a tour of the property by Janet then spent some time at Maloka with a breathtaking view. Later we spent some time in Kaslo and after returning back to the property we were pleased to meet Richard & Gillian with excellent hospitality! Spectacular star gazing made our time pretty romantic in hot tub and sauna. Next day we had delicious breakfast with fruits & veggies from the property's farm. Overall we both love this place, property and the people around.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are looking for a stunningly beautiful place to reconnect with yourself, relax, transform your mind and empower your soul, this is it. The drive can be long but is well worth it. The staff of the sentinel is friendly, thoughtful and amazing to be around. The food they serve is nourishing and delicious. The views of the place are stunning and awe worth it. The Malloca, that place you can go to for a yoga class, a meditation, or a transformation, is simply out of this world. On top of all of that, you can schedule an appointment there with a fantastic Chinese Medicine Practitioner, Leni Neumeier; make sure you book your appointment with Leni at least 1 month ahead of your visit, as her schedule is full. Give yourself the gift to visit this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The room had a wonderful view and a comfortable bed. The breakfast was yummy and the owners were friendly and welcoming. While I didn't have a chance to try the sauna, it and the hot tub we're making me consider extending my stay. Very recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A pearl on the Lake. Went for the day with the woman I love to experience the spa. The cedar tub and sauna were delightful, but all the buildings in general were impressive and thoughtfully designed for physical relaxation and spiritual elevation. The staff were friendly and accommodating and I would recommend checking it out :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is a hidden gem in paradise! The staff are incredibly thoughtful and the grounds are well planned out. The sauna and hot tub are spectacular, but the molaca is extra special. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway, this is the place for you! Thank you for the intuitive hospitality!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had the chance to stay twice at the Sentinel in the past year. This is an amazing space. The gorgeous lake and most amazing views of the mountains contribute to create an atmosphere of peace, reflection, creativity and inspiration. The facilities are already amazing and continuously expanding (can't wait for the new meeting room, the sauna and the hot tub to be added!).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is absolutely stunning. Never seen scenery like that. Only thing better was the staff. From the general manager, to the chef to the owners themselves. It was a place of health and serenity. Dog friendly and have an amazing dock and sauna. We can't wait to go back. Only a few rooms so it always felt calm, quiet and relaxing.
