Went for Mother’s Day brunch this year. With my mom, mother-in-law, husband and two kids. $39.99 a person. It was the worst β€œbrunch” I’ve had for that price. Only 2 different kind of eggs and scrambled were horrible. No bacon. (Who doesn’t have bacon), no syrup for waffles only whipped cream and fruit but my kids only like syrup. No pancakes no French toast and hardly any fresh fruit. No toast, bagels, peanut butter jam. Yet they had seafood and prime rib. I love prime rib and some sea food I just feel like the advertising was false. I went there for brunch not lunch. They were super busy and the music was great. The free mimosa was a nice touch. I just feel like not very kid friendly accept the ice cream bar. And they needed way more breakfast options. Plus we ended up not feeling well after and my youngest threw up all night. Honestly kind of sad for the reputation the lodge has that going some places like denny’s and paying less would of satisfied us all more.

Beds are made with fresh white linens. Some parts room are dated. Rooms were clean. Coworker had issues with maintaining temperature in thier shower. I had no issues with mine. It was just great. Rooms had in room coffee, microwave and, mini refrigerator.

I got the spa package it was awesome. Tori and Baily in the spa got me all set up for three appointments. They were fantastique. And if you need a good massage Dean is the one to see. Enjoyed my whole stay and I will stay there again.

When I first got to the hotel, the parking lot was FULL. I ended up parking about half or 3/4 of a block away. VERY POOR DESIGN BY THE HOTEL AND ENGINEERS. In my experience, the front desk staff are not properly trained. They did not have any idea how to handle a reservation made by a 3rd party company. After all this was sorted out, I went to my room and was astounded at the lack of housekeeping. Obviously they are not trained properly and I am guessing they are paid by how many rooms in a day can they " clean". I walked barefoot into the bathroom and felt large pieces of grit on my feet . I thought it was the grout from the tiles or maybe broken soda Crackers. It was neither. Upon further investigation, there was a handful of this stuff in the floor. (SEE PICS). I then noticed the exhaust fan in the bathroom....disgusting.(see pic). In the room was a sheet stati g how they had cleaned/sanitized so many spots in the room. They seemed to be so proud of this. EXCEPT THE FLOOR WAS NOT LISTED. UNREAL!!!!! In the morning, I was standing at the desk, waiting to check out as the clerk was busy with delivery personal then turns and walks away. After calling out HELLO TWICE the clerk literally claims he did not see me(I was wearing a level 2 safety shirt, bright orange). Pretty hard to miss me. He claims the cameras are not working. PLEASE. Apologize, but don't give lame excuses. I asked him to have the GENERAL MANAGER phone me that morning, still waiting. In my opinion VERY POOR MANAGEMENT throughout the hotel. Breakfast was also a joke. It started at 630 AM. Most blue-collar working people start work at 6 or 630AM. If you want to cater to the banking crowd advertise as such and then blue-collar workers can go some place else. I have been to many hotels(under the Wyndham umbrella) Who start their HOT breakfasts at 5 or 530 AM. Obviously this hotel does not care about the blue-collar workers . Will try very hard not not stay here again.

I stayed here once just before the pandemic and once again two years later once right when Alberta removed the mask mandate. My first start was nothing to complain about. The decor was a bit dated but clean and functional. However the pandemic definitely took a toll on their ability to maintain the rooms. There was some damage to my bathroom that was roughly repaired and my heart did not work and was not repaired during my stay. I had heard from different guests that they had similar experiences with their rooms. I hate speaking poorly of a business so affected by the pandemic but I don't want to give others an unrealistic expectation. The amenities on site however seem all good though, multiple restaurants, casino, water slides, pools, and spa. I'd still recommend this hotel despite the shortcomings because of the amenities but if you want a brand new room I would suggest one of the newer hotels in the area.

Here are some of the goods and bads. Good Pool side ground rooms are awesome for kids and adults Water slides are legit. Fun. Hotel staff, especially the pool boy, are awesome Bad Very pricey Worst beds I’ve ever slept on. Spring loaded, firm, very old, not true queens, doubles at best Very noisy (we didn’t care, but some might) Extremely hot rooms, AC doesn’t work. Hot tub not working Steam room closed Still taking covid way too serious (late Feb 2022) No dine in breakfast, boxed small portions Pool water is very cold

We stayed 2 nights for a getaway. Upon arrival the room required repairs just to check in. Maintenance Staff were quick and courteous to complete repairs. Breakfast was very good. Hot tub was not working. Property is certainly showing it's age.

Stayed for two nights. (June 2022) House keeping never came. There’s a note in the room about all the sanitizing that’s been done but there is NO hand soap in the room!! None. The room was clean but dated. Decent sized room, well furnished. Good TV. (nice sound) The lights in the bedroom are bright led, softer lighting for bedside would be a nice touch. The light in the bathroom is awful, it’s more of a nightlight at best. The shower was good but dark dark DARK!!! Bathroom is tiny. Our fridge was full of ice and dripping onto the carpet. The provided coffee cups don’t fit in the coffee maker. Rooms were quiet. There is a window that opens, which is great! Hotel has a nice layout. Pool area was very clean and the water slides were great fun! Chilly but fun. Hot tub was closed. Wrist bands for pool area which was really nice as the pool was mostly hotel guests only. No rooms having a bunch of people over for a swim. Playground within walking distance. Saw there is a Tim’s and McDonalds walking distance as well. Didn’t try the restaurants or the complimentary breakfast.
