High pressure sales, Rude sales staff, managers have 0 accountability for their actions. Stay away from Jake the sales manager, this place employs snake oil car salesmen.

They keep it simple. That's a good thing. This is my second vehicle purchase from Kamloops Hyundai and both were hard to get new models.

Very good experience. Brandon was a pleasure to work with. Great knowledge of products on the lot. Relaxed no pressure sales. Would recommend this dealership.

My daughter's mom took car for what they told me they had their Hyundai technicians looking at car issue. And I asked them to check the sensor that would give problem, so they decided to tell her the most expensive problem on car to fix, she gets the car back and car dies and still gives same problem that it went in with. They looked again and I asked if they checked sensor again, they said I wasn't a Hyundai tech and they had theirs looking at it. So decided to pick car up and buy sensor myself, after car died after picking it up. Scanner of my own showed sensor I requested them to check popped up, so I changed sensor and code went away and car starts and drives normally. The job took 10 mins of my time and a few minutes of YouTube, but thanks Hyundai for stealing 1500 more than what the bill could have been for just replacing a sensor over what they actually did. Update to their reply: It was not even close to a less than perfect experience. It was a poor experience from the start, to have me told I'm not a Hyundai technician and you have certified technicians looking at problem, and for me to pull sensor that took less than 5mins to check. And verify problem and have fixed in another 5 mins is very disheartening in service from Kamloops Hyundai

The sales team went above and beyond to walk me through the steps of purchasing a new Hyundai. I didn't feel rushed or pressured and they took their time to make sure I decided on a vehicle I really truly liked. Jake and Kevin were amazing! Thanks Kamloops Hyundai!!

Really appreciate them for the shuttle service. It really helps. Asked a service and recall appointment, got a date 3 weeks out. They only did the recalls and didn't put me in for a service. Rebooked the service for the next week as I understand communication mistakes happen. 2 min after picking the car, was hearing a noise when turning the steering wheel to the left. I mentioned it in their feedback request and hoped they would take care of it the following week considering this never happened before they took the car in. They added the cost of fixing it to the service and when I requested that they take care of it because it literally never happened before they worked on the car, all I got was "interesting". And I was told since they never worked on that part of the car, it's not their responsibility. Have other friends who have received similar sub-par services and customer service here.

Very poor experience with Megan and the service department. Got the car back from a service with a missing wheel lock tool and both park brake cables rubbing the back wheels. They tried to deny using our wheel lock, until the tech returned from a long weekend and admitted that he had it. They refuse to admit fault with the park brake cable, despite it rubbing very obviously since they had it, and the tech not noting any damage on inspection. They try to spin it as customer damage after the service, which given the position of the brackets would be nearly impossible, we would have had to have essentially driven without rear wheels installed. If you have your vehicle serviced here, have it inspected immediately after so that they can't lie to your face as well. Given that the park brake is an essential safety device, this is especially concerning. Edit to address their reply: The bracket is behind the wheel, bottoming the suspension would not cause contact of that bracket or at most would have bent it up and inward. Try a better story the next time you accuse a customer of doing the damage caused by your shop's poor workmanship. Does the bracket look like it impacted the road? Not even close. We would have also had the wheels off to see the problem a lot sooner, if you had returned our wheel lock tool. You'll have to gaslight other customers in the future, our trust in kamloops hyundai is completely gone.

First, let me say that the manager, Jake, is a great and helpful guy. But I had a bad experience with service recently. Took my leased car in for an oil change and asked if it would be about an hour. Was told yes. Got back an hour later and asked if it was almost ready. Was told yes again, then learned that it hadn't even gone in yet. At that point I was so angry at being lied to twice, and with no apology, that I went home. Also, I saw the person working in service drive my car into the garage without a mask on. Her name was Kacia. I was supposed to get an opportunity to rate my experience with the service appointment but it never came. Just be honest with customers, please.
