I continue to be amazed Hudson's Bay survives. There are some good buys in the store, but you must be attentive or you'll pay much more for an item you can get elsewhere for less. On the other hand, some items such as jewellery are very reasonably priced. I would say probably the best selection of quality furniture and beds in Kamloops. It's still an old way of displaying and selling, so if you're into retro, Hudson's Bay is for you. You will get the full experience from the late 1980s decor and cash registers to the signage and doors. Heck, it even smells the same! The best spots to see the retro is the elevator and escalators. Oh, really decent views of the valley from the second floor furniture section.

This is the nicest Bay I have ever been in! Coquitlam Centre could learn a few things from this store - well organized and well stocked.

Dinosaur age computer system can't do a proper return or exchange without receipt.... most other places have a computer system they can look back on. Hopefully one day they can get a more up graded computer system so people can do proper exchanges.

I wish I could give zero star here. I went there to shop new sofa chairs last month. While I was staying for 40 minutes to test sitting on this and that, none of staff came to help. There was one woman at till but she ignored me and she even took off and didn't come back. Or she thought I would find her and ask her if I decided to buy anything? What a great way to do their business! So I gave up. I went there again to buy new mattress yesterday. None of staff greeted me or welcomed me. All the mattresses there are disgustingly dirty. And of course no one to try to talk and sell to me or to other customers around. They wait and give up and finally leave. This is such a pathetic service. No wonder everything in the store is old and dusty. They must have not enough staff but even though you see any staff there, they won't try to help you unless you go and try to talk to them for help. I do not want to shop at the bay at all. I gave up on it.

Really gone downhill in the last few years. Stock is second rate and hard to find help. The Clinique counter is really good. Narinder is fantastic!

The quality of the products you purchase here are pretty good, unfortunately this company is going down hill and lack options. Old style retailer. Ride the escalator... feels like the 80s!
