★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went into the store on Christmas Eve to purchase a pair of vans for my 10 yr old granddaughter and dealt with a woman who had absolutely zero customer service skills. I felt as though she was doing me a favor looking for the correct size and allowing me to purchase something in the store. Her energy was negative, harsh and crass. I felt as though I didn't want to purchase the shoes at all from her. On December 27 th I took them back for a refund. I have purchased 6 pairs of runners in that store and birkenstocks also. The staff have always been friendly, fun and excellent customer service. Great energy in there. Staff seem to enjoy their jobs. It's always been my go to store for runners and sandals until now. I am so happy that I have never had to deal with her before. I felt disturbed and uncomfortable. I was told she's in management there which really surprised me because how can a person manage others when they don't have the skill set to manage themselves. Journeys in Georgian has always had the greatest staff. Something's not quite right there now! She has dark hair, lots of piercings and tattoos and lots of male energy. Not friendly at all. The rest of the staff are wonderful!

Helpful staff. Low-pressure approach to sales and customer service. Clean and well lit store. Merchandise is displayed attractively. Decent selection of shoes from Vans, and Converse Chuck Taylors in a variety of different colours. Small selection of classic Adidas styles, Stan Smith's or Superstars in particular. Retro New Balance sneakers as well.
Their overall selection of shoes leans toward perennial classic sneaker styles. The sort of shoes that you can't call trendy because they never truly go out of fashion.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I bought a pair of Doc Martens as a gift for someone, and when I got them home it turned out that they were two different sizes. It was a manufacturing defect, where both boots had the correct size stitched into the tongue but one was significantly smaller than the other. I spoke with two associates, Kate over the phone and Tyler in the store, and they helped me out so much! They went above and beyond to fix the issue. If you need new shoes I'd recommend going here. Super helpful staff, very knowledgeable and very courteous.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought some Doc's and some file shoes about 7 months ago off Brendan here. First let me tell you. This is the best price for shoes in the mall. All the other stores seem to be 20$ or more higher then journeys. Brendan gave us incredible service . We left happy. Recently had some issues with my boots. Contacted the doc boot company and they were giving me the runaround so u went back to Brendan and again he helped me as a customer again. He has gone above and beyond what I would ever expect as a sales person. I will be buying my and my family's shoes here from here on out. Keep up the awesome service Brendan!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited this store on the way out in hopes of finding shoes. Store was fully staffed and everyone was very attentive. They didn’t have the exact size we needed so they pulled out three similar sizes and one boot she recommended. Turns out we loved her recommendation and really appreciated that she brought alternative sizes instead of just telling us they didn’t have our size. When we went to pay I had gift cards that I couldn’t tell were used or not, the Manager went out of his way to check which ones were used. This was by far the best retail experience I have had in a long time. These youth were amazing!
