We have been clients for 48 years. They have fallen behind on their automatic delivery to our home and the tank is near empty.Three days of 2 hr. wait each time to talk to someone in customer service, did try customer service on line and still waiting..

Trying to order more heating oil. They had me on hold for over 20 minutes and then hung up without ever taking my call. Update: Finally got through to them, it has been over a week and i am still waiting for the delivery. My tank is near empty now and once again it is impossible to reach them.

Yesterday I found out they didn't come by last week to fill up our oil tank. At 7pm yesterday we ran dry, the landlord called at 7:30 pm, they said it would take 2h30mins. It's now 6am and they still haven't shown up. Just to follow up, they did finally show up at 3pm. It's a week later and they missed there scheduled delivery, again! Let's hope they pass by before Sunday.

Like many people who complained, I had difficulty reaching the company and getting an oil delivery this past winter. However, recently, i had a problem with the oil tank leaking. I was not able to reach them on the weekend (bad mark) but this morning I had an immediate answer to my call and a technician was sent immediately to remedy the problem. Said technician was very professional, explained the situation, made sure everything was ok before he left. so Kudos!

Terrible customer service. Called Thursday to have our oil tank filled as it was running low. Was told truck will be here Friday. Waited all day , NO SHOW. Called early evening and again was reassured delivery. NO DELIVERY! I emailed and called the following day. The first call to dispatch said a delivery was on its way…. This was Saturday morning. 2nd call was made later in the day and we were told to call back when tank is EMPTY… and they will send a truck asap…..I advised them by that evening we will have no oil left and send a truck now, we’ve been waiting since Thursday….NO ONE SHOWED UP SATURDAY….It is now 12:30 am MONDAY……we called as TANK IS EMPTY….dispatcher says he will pass on the call and we have to wait for a call back…. It’s 1:30 am …..no call as yet . TANK IS EMPTY. We’ve been dealing with Joseph Elie for over 30 years…..very dissatisfied….the stress that they have put us through.

Would give less than 1 star if I could... Been a customer for over a dozen years, didn't run into much problems up until now. Been trying to call them for a delivery of heating oil for close to a week (end of January 2022). During that time, I also filled out the order form online, contacted both by email and fax without response. Finally got through on Thursday last week, guy on phone said someone should be calling me to confirm within a couple days. Got in touch with them again this morning (Monday), they told me they can't deliver any time soon, maybe later in the month, They suggested I find another company, or in case of emergency, take a gerry can to gas station to get diesel! As if my 10 lt can will do anything in an empty 800 lt oil tank... Luckily, I was able to find another company, hoping they deliver before I run out. Going to cost significantly more, but don't have much of a choice at this point.

I have never had such a hard time trying to give someone money. Tried calling them several times this week to pay my bill, but the wait time is massive, the call back feature doesn't work since despite calling 4 days ago, I still haven't been called back. Tried calling first thing this morning, was First in the queue for over a half hour and no one is picking up. The website doesn't have anyway to pay, at this point I don't know what to say. I'm not taking a day off work so I can stay on hold until they feel like doing their job. If they want their money they can do their collections themselves.

During the work a month ago, they perforated a ventilation duct but have not yet sent a repair man and it's -21 degrees at night with no heating in the living room. My big issue though is customer service, never have I seen such appalling C-S, I spent at least 1 hour waiting on 4 different occasions to speak with someone with no luck. I even left my number on 2 of these calls with no returns; worst, worst, worst customer service I've ever seen!
