What a terrible service! My electric water heater stopped working. I called their service center mentioned that the furnace seems not getting power even if I tried to reset the power breaker. It might be the breaker issue or the furnace has some issues that tripped the breaker. I told the agent on the phone that I want someone to come and check the system the same day since outside weather is -15C. The agent on the phone insisted that I must pay 240$ first before she can submit a request to the technician to check the system. When the technician came, in 5mins, he managed to reset the breaker (I did not push hard enough to turn the breaker off before turned it on) and opened electric box of the furnace. His conclusion is that the breaker is causing issue. I can keep using the breaker and wait the electrician to fix the breaker. and he is not electrician, and he cannot replace the breaker. I called the service center again, the agent told me that why I did not tell her it is the breaker problem so that she can refer me to another company to send an electrician at first place. Now I need to pay another 240$ to get the electrician to come. And the breaker is belong to my house, it is not part of the furnace. Therefore, Comfort Expert is not taking care of the breaker, but the furnace. Blah blah. First, I clearly mentioned that I suspected the breaker maybe a problem when I called on the phone. Nevertheless, if I knew for sure it is the breaker issue, why don’t I just call the electrician directly. The only reason that I call an electric water heater installation and service company is to expect more professional services. What a shame Confort Expert does not even have an electrician. Maybe this is just a way they trick their customer to pay more. Their “technician” is only taking care of “general” issue. Finally, after the technician left, Now the breaker will trip every 60 mins or so. It keeps doing that if I manually reset it. now I highly doubt the "technician" diagnosis is correctly. Basically, I paid 240$ for 5mins service. Now we are remaining in freezing cold house. We have to call someone else to help. I think, if possible, one should definitely avoid company with such bad service.

The folks at Confort Expert are very professional and helpful. I called this weekend because I had no heat in two of the upstairs rooms. The service technician called back promptly and we decided that we could wait until Monday to have someone look at the system. I called and the service department answered right away. The technician was dispatched and fixed the problem in no time. He also took time to do a thorough check of the system to make sure that everything was okay. I definitely would not hesitate to contact them again should a problem arise. Two thumbs up!

Water heating circulator pump had given up on life and it was -14C outside, so not a great situation there. Called them, they came within 2 hours, changed the pump and even explained the system to me. Great service and price was fair. Highly recommend

My heat pump died, probably in March. After a very bad experience with another company, I was delighted with the service at Confort Expert. I did wait about 10 days for a visit, but the technician was polite, obviously well qualified, and found the problem quickly. He showed me a photo of the problem, and arranged the ordering of the broken part. If the repair is as good as the diagnosis, I will be thrilled.

Must be shark week again. Beware of sharks. I've been charged $240 for a technician to come and take a photograph, in mid-November while I am without heat. And there is no follow up. Did I just pay for a no service? Friday night (19-Nov) my house was full of smoke. I found out that my boiler (home heating system) went up in smoke. I had to open up all the windows in the middle of winter to let out the smoke. I called the next morning (Saturday) to Confort Expert for a service call. They told me that it must be prepaid on my credit card for the service call. A technician called an hour later and I told him about the scenario. He told me there is nothing he can do and suggested that I call back on Monday to make another arrangement. About 30 minutes later another technician called and I told him about what the first technician said. He said he was nearby and had to see it. He showed up later, walked down to the basement, opened the casing of the boiler, took a photograph and said that the boiler is finished and there is nothing he can do. He asked me to sign his work order to show that he was there. Then he left. Three weeks later, my credit card bill showed up and I realized that I was still charged for the call. I called back to the Billing Department and talked to a representative who passed me to her supervisor. He tried very hard to convince me that he is supposed to bill. I told him that the first technician already told me that there is nothing he could do so why would the second technician come? He said that the second technician is to tell me that he cannot provide service. I said I don't need him to tell me, my boiler the size of a microwave has gone up in smoke, I know there is nothing he could do. I was hoping that the technician would suggest that he could call the boiler manufacturer to get a replacement and come back to do the installation. He replied that calling the manufacturer takes time. I said why didn't anyone call me back to tell me that Confort Expert is doing that. We are in the middle of winter and I have no heat. He again said that calling the manufacturer takes time. I told him since no one called me back, I called the manufacturer myself and got a replacement in 1 week. I had to call another company to have the installation done the following week. So don't tell me that calling the manufacturer takes time. You guys just did not follow up. How can you charge me when you have not provided service. The first technician already told me that he could do nothing, it should have already closed the call and not charge me. There is no reason for the second technician to come. He said that the second technician had to come to take the serial number so that he could follow up. I said when I called the manufacturer 4 days later and reported the serial number, he told me nobody called to make a claim. So Confort Expert has taken the money without any follow up. I was on this call for over 1 hour for the manager to talk to the 2 directors who refused the refund.

I have had a great experience with Confort Expert regarding installation of my electric furnace. Ours was burnt around 2 weeks ago and I had been looking for a reliable company that offers high quality brands in reasonable price. Based on the quotes I received from 4 companies, the best price belonged to Confort Export for the brand I was looking for. Their estimation of the job was quick and professional. They visited my house on Friday, gave my the quote in the same day, proceeded my application for 0% interest financing during the weekend and installed my furnace two days after (on Tuesday) in a completely clean and fully professional way. I strongly recommend this company.

Not a company to trust, amateurs. Sadly, I have deep regrets trusting Comfort Expert. The quality of their products is pretty bad (water boiler broke down after 1 year, almost new, and made a mess). I called them, but the worst part about the compagny is their awful customer service. It took them alot of time to call me back, even if I was on the "urgent" list to schedule for a so called "technician" to come and fix it. They give themselve huge time slots (Of 6 hours at least) and still come before or after those. The technicians took almost a week to come fix the boiler. They came 2 times, just waited outside without ringing or calling my phone (even if they have 2 phone numbers) and left 10 min later. When I called the compagny to ask why they didn't call or ring so I can let them in, after holding the line 11 min, some worker Youssef just hangs up on you for no reason. More than a week without hot water in my home, and customer service bearly reachable.
