Dr Kim is the best! I bring my whole family here. Dr Kim is kind and takes his time to explain what he is doing. Kids love going to their eye appointments. The front end staff is the best too, very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend!

My husband and I have been patients here for approx. 3 years (previously with a Vancouver optometrist for 35+ years until he retired). We have found the service at this clinic to be exceptional from the minute we walk in the door. The staff are very kind, helpful and cheerful. They always greet us with a friendly, positive attitude It's so nice to enter an office and see smiling faces and feel welcomed. Dr. Kim is a kind and very knowledgeable doctor. He does a thorough exam and is so patient with answering questions during and after the exam. He even asks if we have any more questions, so we never feel rushed nor are our concerns ever dismissed. We took advantage of the new digital retina imaging test and were very impressed with how it works. Insurance does not pay the cost yet but the exam is worth every penny as it gives so much more helpful information for the doctor and patient than the eye drop test - plus, no blurry eyes for hours afterwards! When it's time to choose new glasses, frames, etc. the staff are very experienced at helping make good choices that will be the most benefit to us and never try to upsell or pressure us into making a purchase. I used to feel rushed at the previous clinic but here I can take my time, waffle back and forth, etc. and no one shows any impatience. I can honestly say that we look forward to our eye exams every year now. At the previous clinic, it was something we had to do to keep up with our eye health but there was no connection with the staff at all and we felt like just another number, but at Ironwood Optometry we feel welcomed and enjoy every minute of our appointment. So a big thank you to Dr. Kim and his incredible staff for making an eye exam seem like something to look forward to!

Dr Kim and his staff are fantastic. Most optometrists would just do a standard eye exam and call it a day. However Dr Kim goes above and beyond what’s necessary and explains all the details of what he’s looking at and what he thinks is good or bad. He also invests heavily in his practice (he has new machine for examination. Now you doesn’t even need those eye drops that massively increases your light sensitivity). Covid preparation is also second to none as you can’t even walk into the practice unless you have an appointment and a mask. Kudos to you Dr Kim and your fantastic team.

AMAZING! The staff was welcoming, helpful and so friendly! Dr. Kim was absolutely amazing with my 8 year old, guiding him through his first eye exam and taking the time to thoroughly explain everything to us. The facility is very clean and the staff took extra precautions to clean the equipment before my son used it. We opted for the additional screening of the eye, which Dr. Kim took the time to review in detail. I highly recommend Dr. Kim and Ironwood Optometry.

My experience at Ironwood Optometry was exceptional. I felt safe as the staff followed strict protocol during this pandemic. Dr Kim is very knowledgeable and suggested different options for my busy lifestyle. As my vision has been getting more ‘complicated,’ I can finally see well near and far, without headaches. His office staff were also kind and patient and helped me choose the right frames. The range of frame selection is excellent, without being too overwhelming. I just love my new contacts and glasses. Fantastic experience. Friendly, patient and accommodating. They took the time to listen and answered and addressed all my concerns. Detailed all solutions and provided next steps if those solutions did not provide the results. Nice selection of eye-wear to choose from which I purchased the same day as the exam. Very convenient.
