Dr. Renke and the staff are highly professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I get treated like a family member every time. Highly recommend this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Brought the whole family in for an eye exam with Dr. Lisa Ho today. She was amazing and patient with my kids (and their endless questions) and made it interesting and fun for them. She was thorough in her exam and brought up any potential issues she thought I should be aware of. Dr. Ho is incredibly gifted at what she does and I trust her with our care. We look forward to seeing her and the team at Iris again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ IRIS on 1st Ave is fantastic! Peter Renke is such a thorough and knowledgeable doc. I've been seeing him for years now and I always trust he'll guide me with choices around my glasses and my eye health. Things have improved for me while we've worked together and I've learned a lot.
I've bought a few pairs of glasses now at the store as well. The staff is knowledgable, helpful and honest about what's on trend and what looks best for my face. I really appreciate their support in making these decisions. The brands and quality they carry are top notch. I get compliments on my glasses all the time!

Lots of frame styles and the staff always take their time with us without pressure selling. They simply have good style sense and are helpful. We really appreciate them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The team at the Kitsilano Iris is fantastic. Dr. Renke does a very through eye exam. He takes the time to explain everything and answer all my questions. They have a great selection of glasses. Michelle is great at helping to pick styles and making sure the lenses have all the features you need. I always feel good after my appointments because I know that eyes and vision are well cared for.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was our first time ever we used this branch and IRIS, both my wife and I needed eye tests plus pairs of normal and sunglasses each. Dr. Lisa Ho and Michelle were absolutely fantastic. Everything from booking the appointment, going through the eye tests to choosing the new glasses was a First Class experience!! Dr. Lisa Ho was absolutely wonderful, she is so patient and methodical, she explained everything to us clearly and listened and answered all of our concerns, she went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience and prescription that suited us and needs.
Michelle was absolutely brilliant, she helped us choose our glasses, she is so patient and wonderful, she is extremely professional, patient and again went above and beyond to ensure my wife and I were happy with the glasses we chose. I have been buying glasses for 30 years and Michelle is the best person who I have ever dealt with, she's absolutely fabulous!!!
Finally, the entire staff at this branch are brilliant, from the staff who first booked our appointment, and the ones who called us to let us know our glasses were ready, to Michelle and Dr Lisa who we dealt with directly, everyone working really hard and putting one hundred percent effort to ensure the customer is happy and we really enjoyed our experience here and can't thank them enough for their hard word and dedication!!!
