Nous avons versĂ© un dĂ©pĂŽt de 3000 $ pour dĂ©montrer notre intention dâaller de lâavant avec la compagnie et faire preuve de bonne foi, puisque nous avons aimĂ© lâapproche et les choix et surtout parce que iKitchen nous offrait de complĂ©ter notre projet « clef en main » avec le budget dont nous disposions (65000 $ pour cuisine et salle de bain).
AprĂšs plusieurs contacts tĂ©lĂ©phoniques et plusieurs dĂ©placements de notre part Ă leur succursale, les designers nous ont finalement proposĂ© un design (avec du retard) et une estimation dĂ©passant notre budget de 22000$ avant taxes; cette estimation ne comprenait pas lâĂ©vier et la robinetterie de la cuisine, ni la robinetterie et vanitĂ© de salle de bain.
Ă chaque contact avec eux (aussi bien tĂ©lĂ©phonique quâen personne) et afin dâĂ©tablir une communication claire, nous avons mis lâemphase sur lâimportance du budget puisquâil nous paraĂźt juste et surtout important de ne pas se sentir dĂ©passĂ© par un tel projet.
Ils nâont malheureusement pas semblĂ© nous avoir Ă©coutĂ©. Ils nâont pas voulu revoir leur estimation et nâont mĂȘme pas acquiescĂ© notre mĂ©contentement. Nous nous sommes vraiment sentis dĂ©laissĂ©s, pas de reconnaissance du fait quâils ne nous ont pas Ă©coutĂ© ni aucun compromis en ce qui concerne les dĂ©passements de budget Ă©normes.
Ils ont également refusé de nous rembourser le dépÎt.
We felt they were not listening to customers.
We paid a deposit of $ 3000 to demonstrate our intention to move forward with the company and demonstrate good faith, since we liked the approach and the choices and especially because iKitchen offered us to complete our project. "Turnkey" with the budget we had ($ 65,000 for kitchen and bathroom).
After several phone contacts and several trips on our part to their branch, the designers finally offered us a design (with delay) and an estimate exceeding our budget by $ 22,000 before taxes; this estimate did not include the kitchen sink and faucet, nor the bathroom faucet and vanity.
At each contact with them (both by phone and in person) and in order to establish clear communication, we have emphasized the importance of the budget since it seems fair and above all important to us not to feel overwhelmed. by such a project.
They unfortunately did not seem to have listened to us. They did not want to revise their estimate and did not even acquiesce in our displeasure. We really felt left out, no recognition that they didn't listen to us and no compromise when it came to the huge budget overruns.
They also refused to refund the deposit to us.
