She is so kind, professional and passionate that makes me deeply expressed. She was working for hours without stopping and still keeping smiles, when we asked to have the windows blinds cut yesterday. She even ignored the time for her lunch!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ will try to avoid, only 1 out of 10 employees was nice and helpful, a young white girl at the paint department on my 2 visits there. All the others were rude, acting like I was bugging them, or acting completely indifferent, staring me down. Hostile vibe coming from half of the white quebec staff. This store seems to be catered to the pros which I am not , will stick to my friendly neighborhood hardware store

The experience was totally spoiled by the delivery team.
Delivery service was a disaster
I had to argue extensively with them, I told them that the only way they could get my the washing machine in the house was from the back of the house. They refused and kept on insisting on coming in by the front of the house.
I wasted 10 minutes arguing with them. They finally relented when I threatened to call the company.
They quickly installed the washing machine and did not test to see if they did it correctly.
I did a Washing on the machine after they left and the water leaked all over my basement. They failed to connect the hoses properly.
After arguing with them for another 10 minutes over the phone they finally agreed to come back and fix the installation but only after I threatened to phone Home Depot.
Terrible service having to deal with delivery people with a bad attitude-Who were clearly incompetent.
I will never buy anything from Home Depot that has to be delivered nor would I recommend anyone to buy anything from Home Depot that has to be delivered.
It is a bad reflection on the company that they have this type of delivery service.
I am disappointed when I read the reviews and see that the responses from Home Depot are all very standardized…..
“Thank you for bringing this to our attention ….we want to hear more about it. “
I would prefer to see action-take complaints seriously and look into it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Home Depot in this location is excellent as it is in other locations as well. Huge expensive large franchise hardware and more. So much more in fact that you can walk around the place at least for a couple of hours if you just want to see everything they have. It's a well-oiled machine of many types of products. Hardware and a whole lot more.

Was recommended a product that didn't end up operating properly.
Went the next day for a refund. The cashier said the refund has been processed and it will take a couple of days.
Never received the refund.

I think One Star is too generous. A month ago I placed an order for blinds. The blinds department is managed by an interior decorator named Dominique. The first measurements were not good. I had my realtor ask one of the men renovating my place to retake the measurements. I submitted the measurements, picked my blinds , signed the contract and put down a 500$ downpayment. A few weeks later I get a call saying that they had to remeasure the windows. I made an appointment on Monday March 28 at 6:00pm. I am not currently living in my new place. I logged off work early and travelled to my new place early. An hour later, no one from Home Depot showed up. Plus, my Blinds still won't be installed when I move in this week. All this despite doing everything a month ago and 3 measurements! It's not like I ordered a car engine!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It would be impossible to do any housework without asking advice better informed people. In trying to assemble a bed for my son i asked the advice of the young man cutting boards and he was a great help. This young cutter was very polite and quite well informed about the prices of different dimensions and types of wood. When I figure out what I need, I will return to ask his help again. Home Depot might not be perfect but some staff are fantastic.
Now that Covid regulations are relaxed there are more people milling about shopping.
Buses 17 and 37 both stop outside the carpark opposite the Louis Cyr statue.
