★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a wonderful experience we had! Lane and I purchased my wedding ring at Idar, Lara had me try on countless rings until I found the perfect one and then had it made up just for me! She is a wonderful lady, she welcomes us into the store each time we visit Victoria.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I couldn't have had a better experience having a ring designed and made. Idar is a true artist and it was fun to be part of the creative process. Idar, Lara and Lance were endlessly patient with me through the design process and the tweaks to the ring after I had a chance to wear it. They truly wanted the ring to be perfect and for me to be in love with it.
They stuck to the original price they quoted, even though I'm sure it ended up costing them more. I asked Idar to do a number of tweaks to the ring and they never made me feel like I was being difficult.
I wouldn't go anywhere else for fine jewellery. They truly know how to turn first time customers into life-long customers. Thank you so much Idar and crew!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love, love, love Idar. I had been visiting the store for a number of years, flying in from New York to visit an ailing parent in Victoria. Each time I entered the store it was a great experience. As I asked to try on different pieces, there was never any pressure but rather a one to one attentiveness that I really appreciated. I finally had the opportunity to have Idar make three pieces for me, in remembrance of my parent who passed. Idar was so good to work with and patient with me as I tried to decide exactly what I wanted which took quite awhile!! The results were fantastic and I am wearing one of my Idar rings as I write this. I am already contemplating what I may have them design next. Truly works of art!

Jason reports the experience was seamless and I'm thrilled to not have received socks (again!). I sincerely hope this positive experience leads to more beautiful sparkly treasures in the future!

Idar made my mothers engagement and wedding bands and an initial necklace that was given to me. The jewellery is still timeless and amazing and the staff are always friendly.

The store workers and owners have been so wonderful, full of smiles and so caring. They care of every detail that they put into my jewelry. Absolutely gorgeous and handcrafted of artwork. Thank for all your kindness and hard work that you have done for both of us. Idar and staff deserve five stars for their fantastic work and such a lovely store.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had the best experience with Idar. They were the third jewellry store we visited with our concept and the only one who could deliver on it. We specifically wanted Asian kanji symbols to be placed on the band and not carved into the gold (as lettering wears away when it's engraved). Two other stores who do custom design jewelry told us this couldn't be done, but Idar was fully on board and exceeded our expectations. Service was fantastic and whenever we dropped by, they happily give our bands a professional polish for us. Service seems to be a lost art nowadays but Idar has it mastered.
