Hyatt Regency Vancouver

We checked in a night for a staycation. We got to check in early which was great and the rooms was upgraded to a corner one so it’s larger. The rooms was renovated, everything was clean and comfortable. The location is so central and we even used the outdoor pool because it was heated. Many moons ago I worked there in banquets but never got to see the rooms.

I really enjoyed the corner balcony view room ##20 which I was upgraded to as a Globalist. Any room ending in 20 on most floors should have a beautiful balcony view of the Fairmont hotel and city skyline. Many reviews have complained about the elevators but once you are aware of how they work I have found them to be much more efficient just male sure to watch the letter elevator that you are assigned. The breakfast was a very positive experience from seating options, ambiance and staff. I found that the short conversations I and others had with Robert to be very positive. Thank you. You can tell that he has a real passion for his work and with all his positivity could bring a smile to any face.

Pleasant stay here at Hyatt Regency. The location was great. The front desk staff was nice but not as welcoming or friendly as I would expect from Hyatt. My room was spacious, modern and clean for the most part. I did find some surfaces dusty. The washroom was a good size and did not feel cramped when two people were inside. The mirror was big and the lights surrounding the mirror made it seem very high class. The shower was a good size and tub spout produced water at a very fast pace so it made filling up the tub very quick. Room has good noise cancellation as the outside noises or neighbours next door could not be heard. Was surprised to see how large the gym was and had lots of machines and a good amount of weights to use. Elevators were quick and efficient as well. The main gripe I had with my room was the bed. My room had two queen size beds and neither of them were comfortable. The beds were way too soft for my liking and I guess over countless numbers of guests using them, the springs have given way. This was especially apparent when you slept on the side closer to the middle drawer/lamp. I woke up with a bit of an achy back for the lack of support. Also, when you turn off the middle lamp, the outlet also turns off so your phone will no longer charge. Kind of bummed out when I woke up and saw that my phone was still low on battery but not a big deal. I did run into an issue with our room being too cold and the thermostat was not working (it would not go past 18 degrees and kept pumping out cool air). Called the front desk and they had a maintenance worker come check it out within 10 minutes of waiting. He was very nice and told us what the problem was. About 15 minutes later it was working back to normal so that was great.

Had the most incredible experience here. The staff were so professional and kind. The parking was great, they offer a discount for longer periods of parking, paid $33.50 for 36 hours of parking through their app. They allowed us to check in two hours early! The room was on the 28th floor, which was so beautiful and clean, and the view was great!! I was so surprised to see such a great gym, pool and hot tub space as well. I enjoy the elevators as well, push on the touch pad your destination (lobby, room, gym etc) and it will direct you to the correct elevator going to that destination, really efficient! Separate elevator for parking levels. Really enjoyed my experience here, location is a must!! Will most certainly be back again.

The rooms are always fantastic. there's plenty of room, it's clean and provided with all of your creature comforts. The efficiency of the elevator seems like a small thing but I appreciate how responsive the system is. You never have to wait long for the elevator and it gets you to your floor in a snap. The hotel location is spot on, there is so much to do in the vicinity of the hotel; shopping, eating, sight-seeing, and if you want to venture around town, the Skytrain is not far away. I always find the staff is friendly and courteous. Both times I've stayed, I've wished I could stay longer! I'll be back.

We had a great stay here. The room was modern, clean and roomy. It was also cool that there was and umbrella in the room because it rained of course. There is a fairly well-equipped gym with cardio machine, weight machines, dumbbells, a couple benches and yoga mats etc.. There is also a pool, and got tub in the same level. The hotel is in a great location, walking distance from the waterfront and walking distance to many great restaurants.We did a lot of walking and even did a bit of a tall walk across the bridge to Granville Island.

I stayed there right after I had a surgery so I was stuck in my room, but the room was large and comfortable and clean. Lots of space didn’t feel cramped. I got a room with a balcony so that helped as well and the balcony was large. The bathroom was good and spacious. The location is wonderful, close to multiple great restaurants and shopping. Parking was a breeze as well. The staff were fantastic. Front desk was very courteous and kind, the bellmen were equally as nice and helpful. There’s a Starbucks in the lobby as well as a really nice lounge ( I was able to get downstairs for a snack and a drink) with good drink selection and snacks. I will definitely stay there again.

We lived here for a week. As we had a packed schedule, we didn’t get to utilize the facility fully. Starbucks on main floor is always vibrant and the scent of coffee is always welcoming. The staff is always friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the pool very much. We enjoyed their shower, the temperature was hot and steamy and it’s kind of hard to find the “right” spot. The walls between rooms were a little thin if you know what I mean.
