★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is best for a business lunch. I don’t see myself coming here for dinner or a special occasion. Service is fine, but food needs a lot of work. The fish and chips I ordered were more like a corn dog than a flaky fish. The space is roomy and I’d recommend the window seats.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dined here on a few occasions as I was in the area for a work conference. The calamari was good, although the sauce was very runny making a mess. They top their caesar’s salads with I believe a raw (or cooked?) anchovy which completely ruined the taste of the salad. Servers were extremely polite but the service was abysmal. Very understaffed considering this conference had been booked a year in advance. Had many friends cancel their order due to wait times. Likely won’t return.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was excellent, every dish we tried had a combination of flavours and textures that worked very well together, the effort of the chef was evident. We were especially impressed by the fish tacos, the fish was cooked just right (often fish tacos at other restaurants we visited have it either overdone or underdone). The service was fairly quick and the staff were friendly. Prices were reasonable. The seats and atmosphere were pleasant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Christmas dinner is fascinating. The salad and soup has its own characteristics. The fish and steak are good and pairing well with the wine. The dessert is awesome with the decoration and chocolates.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really enjoyed my time here. We came a little earlier (5pm) so the restaurant was quiet and we got a seat looking out the window over burrard street. We went for dine out vancouver 2018. The service was great. I was really impressed by the taste and plating of the food. I would come back for a special occasion and recommend this place for a romantic but not overly lavish dinner out.
