★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had to have my credit card sent to this branch for pickup and they managed to lose it ... TWICE (lost the original card and then the replacement card). Promised to call me back both times and never did. Of all my dealings with banks this is by far the worst. Will never use HSBC based on experience at this branch. Also HSBC seem to be so behind in technology in general ... having cards sent to branches this is so 1980s.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went in to open a chequing account and TFSA a while back, I never wrote a review until now. I understand that opening a new account is a big change, especially because one has to do a lot of research with different banks and credit unions before making a decision. When i had finally made a decision, i decided to go to this branch since it was close to a location i visit frequently.
I was met with a wonderful welcome at the front desk. But what proceeded was the worst experience, from a "premium banker" no less. I met with DAVID YAN, he treated me like a criminal. Made false excuses to not open an account. He pushed me away from opening any accounts, saying the interest rates i'd be making is not even worth opening an account, or that the monthly fees are too expensive. Even though i told him i'd be fine with that. I just wanted a different level of customer experience than what my bank offers me. After showing him that i was really passionate of being an HSBC client, he told me that they would run a CREDIT CHECK on opening a new CHEQUING & SAVINGS ACCOUNT. I was absolutely livid... DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AT THIS BRANCH OR FINANCIAL INSTITUTION. You will just be treated like a criminal.
