★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm sorry, my son didn't have a good experience with your staff. I had booked him in for a check up regarding his decay and to establish a plan for his treatment. However, when we arrived we were told we were booked in with a hygienist. My son is 3, we had 5 minutes of his attention, maximum. Which was wasted seeing a hygienist.
The dentist then came in, seemed extremely rushed and instead of taking the time to speak to my son or establish any kind of trust, he had me assist him in checking his teeth while restraining him.
I have great difficulty brushing his teeth every day as it is, because he simply doesn't like it. I don't like the fact that I have to hold him still to do it. But, I have been taking him to another dentist back home for the last 2 years who took all the time needed to create an enjoyable experience for him. He loved seeing her.
Our experience with your clinic wasn't like that at all. We felt rushed and frankly like another number with dollar signs on our foreheads.
Just because you have TV screens in the ceiling, doesn't mean that you don't have to work on establishing trust with the patient.
I'm disappointed with our experience from the booking process (as we were booked in for the wrong treatment) all the way through to the follow up text
message. Instead of being asked how my son was feeling after his appointment or whether we had any questions regarding the process or perhaps an offer to have another chat on the phone to the dentist as is was extremely hard to process anything he was saying because my son was so distraught, instead I receive a message saying that you want to book him in for his sleep surgery. Again, money focused.
No, definitely not. And I won't be recommending your clinic either.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I brought my 2.5 year old for his first dentist appointment. I was really nervous he would freak out but the entire experience was great. Sonia, the dental hygienist that worked with us was great and put him at ease instantly. She made sure to explain everything she was doing to him and kept him involved the whole time. He had such a good time, he asked to go back at the end of the day!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic Experience! The staff were helpful and welcoming. There was no extended wait time, they were very prompt, which helps with the little ones. The dental hygienist was extremely friendly and great with our 4 year old and even gave prizes to our other two children who had to tag along. The dentist was just a helpful and great with the kids. They really make the experience a lot easier and it’s clear they know how to deal with small children. I highly recommend this office! We have been to others with a subpar experience.

Kayla the hygienist was so friendly and thorough with the cleaning. They always make sure to answer all your questions before you leave and ensure that you are satisfied. I have never been to a practice that has such great customer service from the time you pull into the parking lot. I love Dr. Ostro and his professional team.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A child’s dentist appointment is not something I was looking forward to. After our first visit, I can honestly say that my daughter had a blast and can’t wait to be back! Everyone from the reception staff, to the dentists and dental hygienists, are delightful. They take the time and make the effort to make the experience as awesome as possible for the kids. We’ve dealt with Dana and Dr. Goldberg and both were so so wonderful. Thanks to you, my 4 year old is literally more excited about coming back for a filling than I’ve ever been about anything ever before!

I have three kiddos (6 years and younger) and the staff does an incredible job to ensure that each of them has a pleasant experience. All my questions are always answered with clear explanations. If next steps are needed, I leave knowing exactly what to expect on the next visit and how to prepare my child. Everyone is always smiling - such a positive vibe! Highly recommend!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was by far the best experience ever. We took our 19 month old and 4.5 year old for a visit and I am so glad that we picked Vaughan Children Dentistry for our kids oral care! The hygienist was the greatest with my toddlers. I was beyond impressed and my husband and I both felt so happy. She went above and beyond making sure my daughters felt happy. It was a huge weight off our shoulders. They were patient , quick, yet efficient. A huge thank you to your whole team!
