L	L B on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really wanted to like this place which is why i went back a second time despite not loving the results of my first experience. I get gel manicures with extensions. My first appointment I got a shellac finish and the second visit i tried the dip powder. In both cases, everything was sloppy—the nail shape was uneven, the gel application was inconsistent in thickness, and there were also areas on my nails that were missed entirely (around the cuticles and sides of nails). If that was my only complaint, I would probably continue going here because the location is convenient for me. However, I can't tolerate nails coming off after less than a week of wear. If i'm paying close to 90 dollars with tax/tip included, i expect the manicure to last me for more than a week. I know this isn't an unreasonable request because I received this service for years in downtown Toronto and have never experienced a single nail coming off until I tried Happy Nails.

The nail filing was off centre, the attention to detail was bad, nail polish doesn’t even go to the edge of the nail, the big toe nails were clipped in completely different shapes. And for a steep price point all things considered. Could’ve certainly gone to a much nicer place but I was in a hurry. Going to redo it at home. Very disappointing.
A	Ama on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I got my nails done a week ago for vacation and even though this was first time getting gels I knew they weren't done right. I had a mani and pedi done and they were both sloppy. For whatever reason they were in a rush to get my nails done and it shows. On almost every finger, there is a part of my actual nail that is exposed. The paint that was suppose to be on my fingers were peeling after 3 days of getting my nails done because my skin was painted instead of the nail itself. The technician over applied the gel and I ended up with Irritating "hooks" on bottom of the nails where the gel met the false nails underneath. I spent most of my idle time prying and peeling my fingers from my nails because they were glued shut! I paid almost $100 dollars for both my mani and pedi and apart from going to get these removed I will not be revisiting "Happy Nails" Edit: I was also charged $90 to get these removed! Please save your money and DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU'RE BLACK!

Danny always remembers who I am even if it’s been awhile. He makes sure to take care of my nails, and if I accidentally hit it and bump the polish he has no problem fixing it. I will always come back here. They also are super good with meshing to their customers personality and they get along with everyone whenever I have visited.

He gave me this gel set and it was exactly what I wanted and more! After I got married, I took my husband with me and he loves their pedicures over ones he has had previously. So happy with them!!

I have been going there regularly to get my nails done for almost a year now and I always have a positive experience there since everyone is so welcoming, friendly and professional. Lily makes great suggestions on what colours to choose and takes care to ensure that my nails look great every time. The quality is very high, the shellac doesn't peel and it lasts a long time. I was lucky to have gotten my nails done a week before my boyfriend proposed! My hands were photo ready thanks to Lily! Needless to say, I highly recommend.
