went in for glasses having never been a glasses wearer ever, the lady at the counter was amazing, helped me pick out not only 1 but 2 pairs, told me about the specials was patient, loved this place. also go an eye exam. would recommend to everyone

Super helpful staff and friendly environment. Chris and Mitch helped us and were great. Chris went above and beyond to help us get our eyeglasses and made sure that we got them on time. We will defiantly use Hakim Optical again for any future needs and I would recommend them to anyone else as well.

The woman who helped me pick out frames was patient, friendly and knowledgeable. When I picked up my frames the optician who assisted me was courteous and friendly. My glasses were a very fair price with the promotion as well.

First visit before they had our money was a great experience. The second visit when we picked up glasses is where things went bad The glasses for my mother were not right, so after some adjustments and getting snippy with my kids he said leave glasses with him. After another week and not receiving a call that they were ready for pick up I called and was told yes they were in. The glasses were still not right but we took them home to try. We got a better look at them and realized how cheap they really were. The lenses were not in right, there was pieces of the lens coming off. They were rude and condescending and it took a lot for me not to blow up. In the end we got our refund and will not be returning and will advise you to go elsewhere. PROS- GOT A REFUND CONS- CHEAPLY MADE GLASSES, CONDESCENDING RUDE STAFF, UNPROFESSIONAL, LETS A DOG RUN LOOSE IN STORE, NO PATIENCE WITH KIDS, VERY FRIENDLY BEFORE YOU SPEND YOUR CASH THEN RUDE AFTER THEY HAVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY.

I purchased a set of designer frames last year and within two weeks there was a scratch (more like a gouge) and I barely tapped them but was told there was scratch guard and my frames are so loose that the lenses are barely staying in. They told me because my frames were designer, I cannot get a replacement. I paid SO much money for these glasses!! I will never step foot into any Hakim store again.

First visit was okay. The manager helped me pick out 2 frames that I am still happy with. However, the measuring or lab really messed up my progressive lenses. When I went to pick up the lenses nobody spent time to ensure the fit or lenses were correct - I was given the glasses without any cleaning solution or wipe and sent in my way. I had troubIe seeing my computer screen at work. I went back twice in the middle of the day to talk to the optician and was told she wasn't there and I should have called first?!?! It's an optical store! Both lenses have a weird imprint/mark on them that I can see. I was told that's the way the lenses come. I have worn progressive lenses and never have seen this before. I found the whole experience very unprofessional and upsetting. When spending over $700, one would expect some level of service. Maybe other Hakim locations are ok but definitely not this one.

Last year my husband and I had our eye exams there and we purchased 3 glasses there too. I'm aware we didn't book an appointment last week, but they allowed us to enter. Everything was ok, but when we decided on our glasses and they submitted the bill to our insurance, we found out that we had to wait until Jan 2022 for our glasses to be fully covered again. We apologized for the inconvenience and we told her we would call the IC, but the lady tottaly changed her behavior and started telling us that they shouldn't have let us in and gave us a disrespectful look...she didn't even say bye when I passed by her apologizing again. I tottaly understand that we are having difficult times, but I felt so bad!!! Sometimes things go in a different way we plan, but you don't treat customers like that!!!! We would have purchased 4 glasses there that day, but I'll never put my foot there again!

Doctor was fine, and one of the opticians was helpful. The other was clearly trying to rush us out of the store (I was out before closing and was paying attention to the time). She was huffy and annoyed when I asked for help with frames, rolled her eyes when she saw my tray full of frames I’d already tried, and kept bringing up that they were tired and wanted to get home. Really negative experience. Amazing how rude people can be when you’re trying to spend multiple hundreds of dollars at their store. No telling how they’d be once I dropped all that money (especially judging by other reviews about the change in attitude once they have your payment). I won’t be back.
