She knows everything there is to know about the industry and provides exceptional assistance for indecisive clients like myself. โ โ โ โ โ I bought glasses at this particular Hakim Optical store a year ago. I remember the lady who worked there for being the most helpful, professional and genuinely nice person you could want to help you when choosing your glasses! The price was ok too and I was very happy with my choice of the store. Last week I had to show up again there to fix a small detail about the glasses. The same lady provided me with best service again and made sure that I would return there again, if needed. Seriously, in this city where services are often very impersonal and rushed, Hakim at 1033 Bay is absolutely outstanding!

โ โ โ โ โ This was the BEST experience! Dr. Abawi (optometrist) and Tara (optician/clerk) were super patient and nice. Tara always guided me with her smiling face (although it was behind her mask) and passion. For Dr. Abawi, she was extremely polite and thoughtful. From the moment I came into her office to the end, she took care of my emotion and situation very well, by constantly checking in with me, explaining every step she was gonna perform, and encouraging me if I got confused/upset about my vision. Although there was an exceptional situation, Dr. Abawi and Tara communicated with me very clearly and patiently. I understood that any situation was not caused by any single factor or party, but they took the initiative to apologize for and solve the misunderstanding. As a customer, I felt respected and paid attention to. To be honest, this was my first eye exam in Canada, but it was definitely the best eye exam in my life. I truly appreciate all the effort, time and help they provided to me. Thank you so much!

She was an absolute delight to meet and true professional in ensuring everything is in order as expected! I would recommend this location to folks who are unsure of which type of glasses suit them!

โ โ โ โ โ Tara helped me to pick out some new glasses and the customer service I received was amazing! She was super friendly and patient even though I was very indecisive and she caught on to the style I was going for very quickly so she was able to make great suggestions out of their huge selection. Tara was also super helpful when walking me through the many different options for lenses and made some helpful recommendations based on some off-hand comments I made while shopping about my current glasses frustrations (very attentive!). Overall a great shopping experience!
