D	Debby Jurgens on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful location. We booked a 2 night golf package. Easy booking through the resort, beautiful golf course. ( although we were very disappointed with our second round, we were paired up with an elderly couple who had a very hard time golfing. Literally painful. It ruined our round. He even hit me with his ball.). The resort was nice, our room had cobwebs and spiders, I cleaned it up. I do understand that they are short staffed. The free Wifi is the worst. It doesn’t work. We were unable to use our phones for data because it picks up the US.
S	Scott McGinn on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We chose a waterfront room with a splendid view of the river, islands and the antics of a couple of families of ducks. It's in a stunning location. Contrary to some other reviews our room was completely up-to-date, clean, fresh, comfortable and quiet. The restaurant menu was limited and lunch was not available, probably because of pandemic labour shortages but the food was very good if a bit pricey, the portions generous and the service generally fast and friendly. Service at the front desk was variable. We did not use the TV so cannot comment on the service. Our only very minor issue was that depending upon the time of day, internet access via the resort's WiFi could be very slow, not a problem for us light users. Bell cellular was also often slow. We would definitely return.
R	Richard Aitken on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I, together with all of our lawyers and paralegals, and a few colleagues recently stayed at Glen House. We were a very small conference--perhaps 15 of us in total. In spite of that Debbie, and all of the Glen House resort staff treated us as if we were royalty. The food was excellent, the conference facilities were just what we needed. And of course you cannot find a better view! All in all, it was a wonderful stay, together with some fun golf. We will certainly be back. I appreciate that Debbie was able to take care of us, all within the budget that we had to work with. Richard Aitken
J	Joanne Mantha on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great golfing and convenient place to stay Enjoyed the golfing at Smuggler’s Glen. Course in excellent shape with fast greens and beautiful scenery. Stayed at the Glen House across the street with a room overlooking the water. Nice view. Room was clean, a little dated but spacious enough with an added electric fireplace and comfortable bed. Though the resort amenities were still closed and only the outdoor patio open (overlooking the water and beautifully manicured grounds), we nonetheless received very good service morning and night from their attentive restaurant staff (Paula, Jessie and Maddy). Food was very good and we look forward to returning when the whole complex and dining room are open.

Ate at the restaurant and the food was good and fairly priced. For a golf getaway was good spot and would recommend and I'd go again.

V	Vernon Nielsen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Glen House Resort is a pretty special place. The view of the St. Lawrence is spectacular, and the rooms that have been updated are nice. The place has been around a while, so parts of the establishment are either in process of being updated or need to be (at some point). The dining room and bar have not been touched, and they don't need to be - they present very well. The grounds are good as well. The only drawback that I speak about is that the depth of experience in the kitchen comes across as very shallow. It might be from COVID. This can be rectified but it definitely takes away from this place.
